What's on your Monday Menu?

Morning all! It's Monday, and it actually feels like Monday! And the Sox took their second straight series from the Yankees!

I've already been out, while it was cool, spreading some loam around. I had 6 yards delivered, and have a bunch of depressions and sunken areas I want to fill. It's good exercise too. It was nice having a handful of people over for cookie decorating and pizza. We have something like 22 or 24 coming next Saturday for a graduation party, so we have some preparing to do this week. I don't know if I want to bake a cake, or buy one.

QOTD: I'm not sure I'd want to go to an Olympics. Not only are there crowds at the actual competitions, but there are crowds at every restaurant, bathroom -- everything. It's not my favorite thing.

Good Morning! We had a pretty uneventful weekend and mostly stayed inside since it was over 110 and never really got cooler than 80 even overnight/early morning. We did have a friend over for dinner (bbq burgers) on Saturday that is home for a few weeks from Ohio. Tonight I'm going to a Blink182 concert with Em and Kobe (and some coworkers since we are in the suite). I had originally planned to be off today and tomorrow but with all the accounting system chaos I want to be there in case we get the rest of our access and need to post things. I checked throughout the weekend and nope.

QOTD: When I was younger I had always thought it would be fun but not so much now with thinking about crowds and all that.

One of the things I hated about living in AZ was that in the summer, even the 15-20 degree drop kept you over 100 at night, especially in July and August.

Good Morning Queen JB and Meneurs,

I cannot believe we are already past the 4th of July. It blows me away how quickly time passes compared to when I was a child. Summers used to last forever, now they are gone in a flash. Weather here is looking super-hot in the 90° most days for the next two weeks. Not great for Rudy but will make a nice pool weekend for me. Tonight, I am getting my hair done. I canceled last week because I had to much going on. Tomorrow is besties last day in town and I am trying to organize dinner out at a nice Italian restaurant for tomorrow. I will miss her, but my scale won't. Last night I got together with her and another friend, and we made homemade ravioli for dinner. It was good but not for the waistline for sure.

QOTD: Yes, for sure. I would love to go to the Boxing and Diving events. Those would be my first choices.

Accountability: None I have been awful.

There is a theory that the reason summers are so long when you are a kid is that 10 weeks is a huge % of your life when you are 8 but a much smaller percentage when you are 51, lol. I buy this!
