Good morning, everybody!

Today is all about the booties. It's supposed to be high 80's in Idaho this weekend, so I don't think that we will want to wear waders. But we will want to wear boots in order to keep the stream rocks from cutting up our feet. And last time that I wore boots without the waders, I blistered up my feet pretty good. So today is going to involve a trip to Orvis to get Neoprene socks that go under the boots and keep the blistering away.

Orvis is on Michigan Avenue, so I can walk from work. They closed the one in our suburb.

Other than bootie patrol, I have a few things that need to get done before I leave work for vacation (i have vowed not to bring my computer), plus Crossfit, packing and swimming. We leave for the airport at 7:00 tomorrow, so I will probably come on and post.

QOTD: I have not tracked in some time. I did it faithfully all through the losing phase and my first year of maintenance.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Catered unless I get something near Orvis

Dinner: Butter Chicken

Have a great day, all!

Swan Valley, it's about an hour from Jackson Hole. Or it was before that road went out.

Did you think about wearing Scuba boots? Made of wet suit material with rubber bottoms and only above the ankle. I use mine in the ocean as not to step on anything alive. That creeps me out.

I will be at the ocean next month and going to look into those Scuba boots. Do you also wear them on the hot sand or just in the water?

On the sand as well. They are for cold water diving, but I always wore them because I don't like live creatures touching my feet unless they are giving me a pedicure. You probably can get away with a pair of water shoes much more cost effectively I just have these from when I used to scuba dive.

Good Morning! I'm happy it's Friday-Eve but still not sure what the weekend might look like working. We did make decent progress on prepping things for our tentative plan for payroll next week. Today will be fine tuning some of that and working on another project that doesn't require the accounting system at this phase. Sleep hasn't been great the last few nights either, Em's cat is here for a few days while Em and Kobe are at Disneyland (so jealous that they also got to have dinner at the Blue Bayou- the restaurant inside Pirates of the Caribbean) and she keeps tipping over her automatic feeder in the middle of the night. Also, she and my cat like to act like they don't like each other even though we adopted at the same time and they lived here together for 3 1/2 years.

QOTD: I still use MFP, I need to get better about updating it as the day goes and meals change.
