What are the boxes at the bottom with the handle in the middle? Are they lids or like baskets?

Like baskets. They are referred to as two-sided carriers.
The round ones without a lid are close copies of originals made by Shakers for their own use. The Shakers painted theirs. They called them "spit boxes." They filled them with wood shavings and used them for . . . Chewing tobacco waste. They had them in all their buildings.

Those boxes
What size shoes do you wear? I saw this 6'9" guy on TikTok who wears size 16 and he was complaining about the same thing.

14, but 4 Extra Wide. It's the extra width that's the hardest part.

Oops, QOTD: The Beatles are one of those groups that my favorite song is the one I hear next. They just have so many that are amazing. If pushed, I might have to say Yesterday, or maybe In My Life.
I read an interview with John Lennon, and they asked about songwriting credits. Officially, a few songs were Ringo or George, but most were Lennon/McCartney. They asked if those were all a 50/50 thing, or what. He started going through a long list of their hits, and broke it down. "This one was mostly me, but Paul added this line, and that refrain, or "That was Paul, and I changed some of the words and the arrangement." A couple were "That started out as mine, but didn't like it, so I gave it to George." It was pretty fascinating.

QOTD- I was a fan when I was a kid, but the second time around when they started playing them all the time I would change the station if one of their songs came on. I've made peace with it but still not a huge fan.
It was too hot to walk yesterday it was above 90 and I did try but not a chance. However I did get two loads of laundry hung outside, and managed to change the sheets without too much cat interference. Always a challenge. I did get gas at Costco and did an Amazon return to Whole Foods that was the extent of my day.
This week has flown by. I have a hair appointment today but nothing else scheduled for the weekend. I will try to walk in the mornings since it will continue to be hot. Until I get used to the heat.
I do need to do a Costco run this weekend, they have some things on sale that I need.
The idiots with fireworks have started already, a few a couple of nights ago and a really loud one last night. I am so not looking forward to the Fourth.
Have a great day everyone!

G'morning all!
JB - wishing you an uneventful shot day. I hear from folks that the side effects will subside once you get the hang of it.
Few last tidbits about the hike to Havasupai.
Mules - they are the only mode of transportation in and out, if you are not walking. They don't carry people but they will carry your backpack and more importantly Supai village is the ONLY place in the US where the mail is carried out by mules.
Solar panel - we couldn't carry extra phone chargers because they were heavy. But leave it to DH to bring a backpacking solar panel to charge our phones and watches.
Alien footprint? - is this a water shoe print? This was the hardest ascend at the end of our hike and I figured if this little guy walked up the mountain I should zip my mouth and not complain.
QOTD - strawberry field forever, hey Jude, here comes the sun, help!
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Scrambled eggs w/cheese
- Protein frosty, barebells bar
- Chicken skewer
- E: sick day
Happy Fri-yay!

Mules and solar panels. It seems such an odd combination.
