I have been in the four day a week situation and tried different days. What worked best for me was Tuesday or Thursday. Monday tends to be busy for everyone. Traffic was heavier, lines at stores and banks were longer, it was difficult to get doctor and dentist appointments on Monday.

That is mainly because the retired people are anxious to get things done on Monday and make i busier everywhere. Friday is not as busy in the world, but almost everyone you work with will request Friday for the long weekend and someone needs to stay and take care of work business on Friday.

By Thursday the retired people are home and done for their week. Traffic is less, easier to get appointments, and less lines everywhere. Wednesday would be good too, but most doctors and dentists take Wednesday off.

Good morning! Cooling down a little bit here for a couple days. Nothing dramatic. Yesterday I burned a lot of calories and I ate a lot. I made one bad choice during the day, but you know what, I'm changing that to one choice. I counted it, weighed it, enjoyed it and I'm not sorry I had it. Other than that, I was spot on and hit all my goals. All other food choices were excellent, all water all day, 167 minutes of exercise, 10,590 steps.

Today we have lunch at The Henry on Coronado Island. Jim will remember that place. Meeting friends and I hope we walk around a bit. Taking a rest day on all actual exercise, but I'd love to get my step count in. This afternoon Rog is smoking brisket burnt ends for us and I'll do up some veggies. Easy day, but me thinks I'll be doing lots of walking/jogging in place tonight to make up steps.

QoTD: I got to do this the last year of employment and I chose Mondays. I really enjoyed the extended weekend and getting my chores like grocery shopping and the bank done while lots of other people went to work. It let me really embrace relaxing and self care on Saturday and Sunday. Sunday depression about the coming week is a real thing and ruins Sunday evenings. I still have that because in my mind I dread HIIT class on early Monday mornings. But I'm trying to stop dreading it and remember how strong and capable I feel after completing the class. So stop ruining Sunday nights, Lisa!!!

Bites today

B: 2 eggs, 2 slices of bacon. Early because our lunch date is early.

L: tbd. Looking for something protein forward

D: burnt ends. corn. cabbage. tomatoes.

Peace everybody!

If you can't reframe your approach to your HIIT class, do they offer it another day or time? I would hate the Sunday scaries about something I'm choosing to do every week. Work is one thing, lol.

I can't reschedule the class, but I can do something about my mindset! I'm working hard on that. I have so very little to complain about in life -- I need to knock of the feelings of dread and embrace the feeling of strong and alive.

Good morning, Queen JB and Meneurs,

Wow a day off Awesome. Enjoy the beach time.

Looks like others have the day off as well because I am not busy. I am going to get my well needed pedicure at lunch today. I have runners' toe again and only after 3 runs. I couldn't even run this morning. Hoping the pedi is a cure and I will do a little treadmill tonight, so I do not break my moving streak.

QOTD: definitely Friday or Monday. I always feel if I had one more day after the weekend I would be in a better place because if it and not feel like the time off rushed by.

Accountability: Thought I did great and again the scale barked back.
