Good morning ~ Congrats on the 2 pounds! A lot of work stuff happening, just trying to keep my head up with all the things... Thankfully, a project I was really dreading starting isn't so bad. I'm even enjoying the challenge - these little things impress me. Otherwise - I have 5 train the trainer meetings that I forgot to put on my calendar, so I am scrambling to re-organize my time. Maybe I thrive on busy/challenge because when I was less busy, I seemed to have no time to exercise and now I am busier than ever and making time. Priorities.
QOTD -I'm a Brady Bunch girl, so Mike Brady. I wanted to be a Brady kid so bad. We were a family of 6 kids too - 3 boys/3 girls and I was the Cindy. Though very, very different from my family there were a lot of similarities.
Accountability - Yesterday - great, 64 active minutes, 11,602 steps. Today - 174.8 (time to set a new goal)and 30 minutes on the treadmill done. I've been taking a 20 minute walk on work breaks that I enjoy getting away from my desk. I re-joined my pool gym yesterday with no anxiety whatsoever and it's clearly where I need to be. I even reserved a lane for tomorrow after work. Not sure how that is going to work time wise, but I'm going to give it a shot. Otherwise, I am committed to Friday afternoons and we'll go from there.
B- coffee, protein shake, Barebell protein bar
l- chicken, spicy cauli rice w/salsa and greek yogurt
d- the last of the never ending pot roast w/potatoes and carrots
s- nectarine, cucumbers w/tajin
Have a great day!!

So true!! I also think my energy is way up with all the activity I've added. I feel so much better. My mom always said you have to expend energy to create energy and I would roll my eyes, buts apparently it's true!

Morning gang. I've got the Heat Wave song stuck in my head. Who doesn't love Martha and the Vandellas?
I'm going to try making today more of a slow day. I put in a few too many hours when JB was gone.
QOTD: You know my favorite TV dad isn't up there. Why would you do that?
I've always been curious though. Soooo many tv dads when I were young were widower. Once in a great while they had, or eventually did, remarry. But so, so many of the women were killed off. Why? Andy Griffith, Bonanza, My Three Sons, The Rifleman, Courtship of Eddie's Father, Jed Clampett, Petticoat Junction, Full House. Every single Hallmark Christmas movie ever made. Why?

Mom always dies in Disney too. I think it's because back in the day, dads were only engaged if they had no other options!
