Nope, I just can't do snakes. Even the pic made me cringe. Enjoy your weekend with some chill time.

That is the part about hiking I don't like - snakes! One in the road this morning on my way is was close enough.

G'morning all!

JB - there is no shame in taking care of yourself. The same way you are taking sleeping pills to help you sleep, you needed something to help you with your weight. They keep saying obesity is a chronic disease, even if we have gone under the knife to rectify that seems like we still need help to manage our weight. Consider yourself lucky that you have access to the medication and can work on your weight loss. Good luck!

My favorite fall amongst the 5 falls at Havasupai is the Beaver fall and you can see why. Absolutely clear green water and plenty of terraces to swim or just hang out. People would hang out on the edge of the terraces and enjoy the sun. Even the trail to go from Mooney falls to Beaver was full of beautiful rivers with clear waters. I also included few of the ladders we used to go up and down the rocks. There were even your typical home depot ladders in certain spots.

QOTD - I have no****ched any of these but they are in my to watch list: mind hunters, sweet tooth, several Harlan Coben's books on Netflix. I have watched midnight mass and it's really good, don't know if you would watch it alone.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Barebells bar, epic chicken
  • Quest protein puffs, jello
  • Egg bites, ratio yogurt
  • E: strength training + 5.8 miles walk

Happy Fri-yay and happy Father's Day to the dads in this group.

Isn't it amazing the "ladders" you will climb on vacation? And then not be willing to stand on the second to highest step of an actual ladder, in the living room?

Incredible pics!

And thanks for the encouragement. I'm not at all embarrassed to need and get support from the meds, I was weirdly nervous to try them and have it not work, and have to admit failure again. But even though I know it won't be dramatic and fast I'm sure this lack of appetite will eventually result in something noticeable.
