What's on your Wednesday Menu?
Good Morning! I spent too much of yesterday feeling like it was Wednesday. So I guess it's good to still have three days left in the workweek to make some progress through some projects. We aren't going to post the position yet for the resignation that we got, we might be able to work something out with the person I know who got laid off, trying to be creative.

Good morning ~ Yay for Wednesday!!! I agree, the week is flying by. Yesterday was great and even though I feel I'm not getting a lot done, we are progressing so well with training and cleaning up messy issues for the unit. Today I HAVE to get a report done this morning, I have a walking lunchtime date with kiddo and then a meeting with boss and peer after. The day should fly. Woke up at 2am with a headache - pounded water and Tylenol. It's mostly gone now, but there. I'm at a loss... it's not fluids or electrolytes unless it just takes more time for the body to adjust? It's been 2 days with added electrolytes. The headaches only happen in the night or morning, not during the day.
QOTD - My job right now. As much as I complain, want to cut bait and move to Mexico, I do love my job. My boss shared with me a new job description (still a work in progress) for my position to evolve into. It's everything I wanted and in line with being the best candidate for her job when she retires in 2ish years. It made me very proud of how far I've come and excited for the future!
Accountability - yesterday was great - perfect on food, 100 min of activity and 11,162 steps. Today I am 176.6 and 30 minutes on treadmill done so far.
B- coffee, legendary pastry, protein shake
l - chicken and chopped salad
d- omelet and crispy home fries
s- nectarine or plum
Have a great day!

How old are your pillows? Maybe it's something environmental? Cold air on your neck or head? Allergies?

Maybe a year or two old? Always down because as far back as I can remember as poly fill pillows give me headaches. Okay, that makes sense. I have extras that are newer I can rotate and see if that helps. My chiropractor said down pillows were the worst for spine/neck issues, but I love them. He taught me how to tuck them for the right neck support and I do that to this day.
Fan is on 365 day a year at night.
I never thought about allergies. I seem to be okay sinus wise but they are kicking Rob's ass right now.
Clearly I'm extra.

Can we talk about you being a pound away from your goal weight as something else to be proud of!?

Squeal!!! Yes - I'm dying! It's been a while flirting on that edge!

I found out after several years of morning headaches that mine was due to teeth grinding! I never knew I did that. My PCP thought it might be low blood sugar or caffeine withdrawal (due to several hours of no food or coffee), which did make sense since the headaches were almost always gone by mid-morning, after I'd had breakfast and coffee. But my new dentist noticed the molars on my lower left quadrant looked like they were wearing down, and asked if I grinded my teeth in my sleep. I said no - but he said "you might". He suggested I get a mouth guard just in case. Well lo and behold, the morning headaches stopped! So that's what was causing them! Anyway, it could be a lot of things - but that is one to consider (also, yes - pillows that are causing head or neck positions to give you headaches, low blood sugar, etc)

I was a hard core teeth grinder until my 20's and then became a teeth clencher (to date). I had big night guards, then got Invisalign to help correct my bite and have worn thick retainers every night since. I've had my share of headaches from that issue as well but it's a different headache pain and thankfully rare now.

Good morning and yay, midweek!
yesterday was failure exercise wise but I got up today, allowed myself one coffee and then got out for a walk. Happy to be above 5K steps as I start my work day. I do have my trainer after work too and have a couple of things I need to do. I am at 46 active minutes on a goal of 58 so very confident I will hit it.
qotd - I've worked through some hairy problems with the business I took over last year that other leaders had allowed to fester. Even with that, my mid year employee engagement scores which I received last week were up in every category, from the scores I inherited after our annual one. Yay me!
menu today
coffee plus half and half
skyr or Greek yogurt
salami and cheese
something from the freezer, maybe rgf orange chicken
have a fantastic day everyone!
