Good morning or rather mornin', with one eye open ~ I've been waking up with a headache every day for while - not sure how long. It's not too bad most days and almost feels like I'm dehydrated but it can't be - I am exceeding my fluids goal of 100oz everyday. Anyway today was a lot worse than usual and I'm considering staying home. The treadmill isn't happening this am, there will be no pounding on the pounding. I have a lot of work to do though so I'm struggling with that decision. I just looked at my work email. I'm going in because I know I will regret staying home.
We watched Ashley Madison, What Jennifer Did, Dodgers, PGA, I finish reading Stephen King which only makes anything else I try to read fall short. Currently reading a memoir book of short stories that I am enjoying, but once it's over, I'll probably start another SK I haven't read - there are still a quite a few. The new Elin Hildebrand comes out tomorrow too - I can't help it, I love her. Always a light and familiar feeling beach read.
QOTD - I vaguely remember cake at the family dinner table when I was 4, but that could be from a picture. Most of the memories I have are probably from a picture, not real memory. I do remember my 9th b-day pretty well. My dad took me and 3 friends to the movie The Rescuers and they all sleep over. I remember we all danced in the living room to our collections of 45's and k-tel records.
Accountability - What a lazy bum I was all weekend. It was gorgeous yesterday and I didn't get out and do anything in the sun. I did a 30 minute lower body workout in the morning though. I had a total of 59 active minutes and 5,445 steps. 177.6 again- today, no treadmill this am. I need to bring my weekend activity game up - I don't know why I'm so low energy. Maybe at 300 pounds or 240 like I was last year I could understand with all that extra weight but not 177 - I should feel great and energetic. I need to figure this out.
B-coffee, protein shake, protein pastry or bar
l - ham and cheese on protein bread w/lett+tom+pickle
d- leftovers
s- nectarine
Have a great day

Could you ask your doctor about doing a complete bloodwork? Maybe you're low on something.

I had bloodwork a couple of months ago and everything looked good there.

I am in the 100oz of liquid club too and my GP said that I needed to add some electrolytes in because I was dehydrated. She recommended adding an unsweetened coconu****er every few days or electrolyte packet, so I do that. I like the LMNT grapefruit electrolytes

100oz and dehydrated sounds crazy, right? I just looked at my weight stats and it says I'm low on water weight and have been for weeks when I looked back. I'm not sure how accurate it is but I do feel dehydrated. I will try electrolytes - thanks!

Good morning, everybody!
The Taylor Swift concert was last night. Marilyn sent me some pictures, which I will post on Friday. Today, they leave Edinburgh and head to the Lakes Region for a few days of hiking. I'm glad that they are getting this time together, but I will be relieved when Marilyn gets back, its a lot having both boys home and being by myself.
We are 10 weeks out from the Sprint Triathlon. It's a half mile swim, 25K bicycle ride and 5-K run. Yesterday, I did a 20 mile bicycle ride and it felt pretty good. No real problems with my wind or legs, but I definitely need a more comfortable seat. My ride was on a fine gravel path, which should translate fine to the pavement for the race, I hope.
Between Murph, the 10-K I ran last weekend, and the 20 mile ride Sunday, I feel pretty good about my engine for the running and riding parts of the event, so most of my training from here on in will focus on the swim. I am starting an outdoor swim program tonight that is each Monday from 5:00 to 5:50. In addition to that, I am going to try and continue to swim in the pool three times a week. I think the run and ride will mostly be what we do at Crossfit plus the long Sunday morning bicycle ride.
QOTD: I think that it was the first one when we moved to the house that I mostly grew up in. I guess that I was 10 years old.
Breakfast: Bagel
Lunch: Catered
Dinner: sandwich
Have a great day, all!
