Good morning everyone. I have a couple of minutes before taking JB to the train. I've got a little yard work today and a scheduled call with a solar installer. Then I have lots to do in the shop.
QOTD: I think the only raw veggie i've ever eaten is a baby carrot. It's not my area of expertise.

My energy bills this month was $7 down from $189 and I already got a $40 check back from excess production. I think I made the right move. I am still up in the air about cutting cable though. I am also looking into buying a Tesla to get the most bang from my solar.

Cut cable! It's the best thing we did. You can get Hulu or YouTube TV and just make sure you either have smart tvs or a Roku stick or Fire stick and you will cut your spending in half, even if you have a few additional streaming services like Netflix and Apple TV. I'll never go back! Amy just did it and agrees!

I did it a couple of years ago and I track all my services/costs per month and year and it's still so much cheaper than cable.

I did cut cable this weekend but still paying $120 for WIFI. We got an Antena for $40 and we get some live TV with it and I have Netflix pea**** and Parmount. I am missing my TLC though

You might want to get some quotes for internet only. 120 seems very high to me. I pay less than that for my internet and home security bundle.

If you can, add Max - you get HBO, plus TLC, ID, food network and probably ones I'm not thinking of! Max and the discovery channels are the same

QJB, I am with you on the needing a break....but I don't have one anytime soon and I'm making myself cranky by focusing on it. Instead I'm going to try to focus on all the things I'm getting to do that are keeping me so busy. But this morning I am happy that I am posting from my reading room love seat, so happy.
I was surprised that I was at 6200 steps when I got home, I really thought hitting 5K was going to be overachieving, especially when I had a colleague with me at the airport that wasn't into just walking back and forth while waiting for the flights -- wanted to sit and talk (so I did). I did walk around the house and pace next to the bed to get to 10,013 so yay me.
QOTD - raw veggie, I have to go with the horses ovaries plate - celery, carrots, cukes.
I'm going to have to do the dreaded after work workout today, I just didn't have time to get up this morning for it, and I might need to hit the grocery store for some lunch meat; I have a new deli chicken that I picked up last week -- I see I texted DCgirl about it Thursday so it could be ok, but I think I bought it monday or tuesday so I'm not going to chance it.
