What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Damn you, Dom! You're not wrong!
It sounds like you had a fun weekend! Action packed though. Your comment about wanting a day to relax on the couch and watch Netflix made me laugh. I just had to tell my mom last week that "Netflix and chill" refers to something else haha!
Im still in Charlotte at the parents. Everyone seems to have come down with a virus and I'm feeling fine and hoping it stays that way. I'm bummed that they're sick during my visit however. Happy to be here to help but wish they felt great.
Eats today will be leftover matzo ball soup, leftover chicken sausage, and maybe Publix fried chicken wings. They are just so good!
I have had many computers since I bought my first desktop in 1993. I give away or throw away the old ones and only keep a laptop and my Kindle Fire. I always have the latest HP laptop because I retired from HP and the retiree discounts are so good. The Kindle holds all my books and I use it to play Best Fiends and to watch Netfiix or Discovery if I can't sleep at night. I also use it to play my games like Wordle. I keep thinking I should buy an iPad but things for the house feel more important to me.

G'morning all!
Glad everybody had a good weekend. We did OK with constant fog/marine layer. Because outside activities were not that appealing we went to the movies and saw Furiosa (kind of a prequel to mad max). We were also told about this new to us series "The fallout". It's like "the rest of us" and has come out of a video game by the same name. We watched the first season.
On Monday the fog finally burned out around 3:00 pm so we got together with friends for a short beach gathering and bbq. It was fun but still cold, but that's Memorial Day for you here.
QOTD: I have a dell laptop. I think when I chose it I did because of its light weight.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Egg bites
- Skirt stake, strawberries, nectarine, watermelon
- Fluffy yogurt w/strawberries and sf Lily's chocolate chips
- E: 5.5 miles walk
Happy Taco Tuesday!

Well hello Tuesday! This week is going to fly by. We had a really nice weekend. Dinner with the bestie neighbors, lots of relaxing, gym time and BBQ at a golf buddy's house that was unexpectedly enjoyable. Great food choices 95% of the time. I did get into some candy, twice. But I measured it out at 110 cals per go. At least my exercise burn exceeded that each day. Yesterday ended with 94 minutes of exercise and 10,054 steps. I indulged in wine on Saturday night, but nothing else all weekend except zero calorie beverages. Ok, Dom...I'm owning the two dips into candy and even the wine, but what's a girl actually have to do drop a few pounds? I logged over 9 hours of intentional exercise last week. And the scale will not budge.
Today is two back to back work out classes. First is cardio and second is yoga with a very small portion devoted to Pilates. I hope to have the energy to pop on the treadmill for at least 30 minutes to work towards my step goal. I have to get sorted and pack a short 2 nighter bag. Rog is leading a golf tourney starting tomorrow in Temecula and we are staying up there. Other than that, I've got a wide open afternoon and evening.
QoTD: I have (and am typing on) a 8 year old or so Acer from Costco and I have an Ipad. Plus of course my Iphone. All three are in regular use during my day but the Iphone and the Ipad travel with me when I go.
Bites today
B: last of the egg roll in a bowl
L: roasted chicken taco on a zero carb tortilla
D: gyros meat and a feta salad

Good morning and Happy Fake Monday,
QJB- It's great that grimm and you enjoyed the weekend travels and family time. And chickens.
I had a really nice weekend. The highlight was a good friend popping back up after a couple years. Another friend that it's magical when we're together but their presence is only temporary. She lives by going wherever the tide takes her and would be classified as a nomad. Anywho, we talked for a few hours and she's hurting. I'm trying to convince her to accept help.
The Cookout was great. I tried to be as hands off as possible. I enjoyed myself and got to talk to friends, with whom i don't normally get the time to have a whole conversation.
QOTD- I have a 4 year old Lenovo laptop. It suits me for what I need. Previously, I was buying a new laptop every year but my needs changed.
B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.
L: ?? Maybe Italian beef. Fries: the over/under is 16 fries.
D: shrimp something.
HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

Good morning, everybody!
I'm late today. Marilyn is flying down to Alabama to see our youngest and then flying to Colorado to start packing my middle and getting him ready to move back home while he looks for a job. I will fly to Colorado on Saturday night and we are leaving from the airport to start driving him back to Illinois. We will be a little caravan of a rental van and his truck.
This morning, I dropped Marilyn off at the airport and then went to an 8:40 Doctors appointment.
QOTD: We have a Mac.
Have a great day, all!
