What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Good Morning and Friyay indeed. I'm hoping to not have to work over the weekend and if I do it'll be from home for a few hours. Nothing on schedule for the weekend and it's supposed to be pretty warm so I see mostly couch time. I did call and got my PT eval scheduled for the 28th. I'm going to try the elliptical this weekend and see my ankle feels.
QOTD: I missed the city bus once in high school and of course no cell phones to call anyone. Luckily a friend with a car saw me walking and drove me home.

Qotd - had a flight from Vegas to Denver get delayed for about 6 hours, circle western Colorado for several hours, then divert to Albuquerque, sit there for a bit and then tell us there wasn't a crew with hours to continue the flight so it was cancelled. There were three other flights in the same situation so I just walked past the line of people trying to rebook and rented a car and drove the 7 hours home.

Back in the days before GPS I was visiting in North Carolina and was driving three other people from Ohio to the airport. I went the wrong way on the interstate and did not realize it for an hour. I was heading south but my mind thought it should be north. By the time we got to the airport the plane was gone and the next flight was several days away. It was a twice weekly from Youngstown on Saturday and Wednesday.
Changing to other flights would have been very expensive, so I rented a car and drove home. It ended up taking about 12 hours because we stopped and ate a few times. Driving used to be a real adventure for me because I have no sense of direction and also confuse right and left. I would tell myself I would get home eventually. GPS was a real game changer for people like me.

Good morning ~ I love bedtime! It's my favorite. I was too nauseated to go to work yesterday so I just worked from home a 1/2 day. I'm feeling much better this morning so it's off to work soon. My work goal today is only to make sure I have a good weekend with no work dreams. A pedi after work, grocery shopping and dinner out at our Italian place with the hubs tonight for his birthday - just us. Another b-day dinner on Sunday with the kids.
QOTD - The only one I can think of is getting home from Las Vegas after our flight was cancelled last year due to weather - it was a nightmare! We couldn't find another flight, they wouldn't allow cars rented in NV to be turned into CA - omg. So, we rented a car anyway just to get home, driving through the very storm that cancelled our flight. Then we had our son drive it back Vegas and fly home a few days later. He didn't mind because his 2 best friends live there. Win-win.
Accountability - good, 177.6 today. No activity yesterday and a lazy day. 4,598 steps. Today, I'v done my 30 minute full body workout and I'm ready to crush 10k steps today.
b- coffee yogurt, strawberries, protein granola
l - buffalo chicken and pickles
d- eggplant and meatballs, 1 glass of red
s- apple and PB
Have a great day!

Morning everyone. Happy Friday! For the first time in a long while we have no weekend plans. I'm hoping to stay hunkered down and ignore the world.
QOTD: I don't think i have a planes, trains, and automobiles story. I'll think some more.

G'morning all!
I was MIA for 3-4 days due to work load. Don't you hate it when work gets in the way of your online social life? I ate like crap (my usual when I'm under stress) and no exercise to speak of. I actually think my back has taken the shape of my chair. But today is Fri-yay, the project is done and I am back to regular programming, so there is a reason to celebrate. I haven't missed much weather wise and not going out, because the marine layer is as thick as can be and although it's not rain looks like it's raining.
QOTD: hmmmm, can't remember a specific one but I've been stuck in traffic for hours when I thought I'd be home in an hr or so. And flights got cancelled and a 18 hr trip home became a 48 hours trip.
Me coming out of my lair, hoping for some sun. Even my back looks like Gollum's.
My meals yesterday: (I claim the 5th for the last 4 days - just abysmal)
Happy Fri-yay.
