What's on your Thursday Menu?

Lol, that realization and being able to get a tres leches or dulce de leche cake anywhere in Miami for two years seriously contributed to me needing WLS. But they were tasty and very much enjoyed at the time!
I did get most of what I needed to do done yesterday, I have a little bit of work to do this morning and a couple of errands before I head to the airport. I had 7738 steps and 113 active minutes yesterday.
QOTD - I haven't been able to watch anything other than to keep up on each week of Top Chef, Last Week Tonight and the night each week that Jon Stewart hosts the Daily Show. I am excited that once I get free time A Gentleman in Moscow and Sugar will both be finished so I can binge them, plus there will be a nice chunk of Dr. Who's to watch by then. Then appears to be July 4, lol. I have given 4 books 4 stars this month, The Familiar was probably my favorite of them. Where They Last Saw Her is one I would recommend, QJB, once you are ready for that type of book again. It's the first fiction I've read that is MMIW based, although I have read a lot of NF in this space.
My schedule and my planning will not be my own for the next few days but I will try to make good choices, get some exercise each morning to start the day on a good foot and I know there will be lots of coffee, probably a little wine, my aunt has a sweet tooth so probably some dessert too. I will enjoy the time with my fam because I haven't seen them since Thanksgiving and after this weekend it will probably be October/November before I see them again.
Early photo Friday for me - the first two are edited a bit, adjusting the vibrance/contrast a bit trying to get the stars I was able to see pop out. Not sure it worked, lol. Melody could probably do it!
This one is straight from the phone though. So pretty.
I kind of wish the solar storm was this weekend because my sister has such deep darkness at her place, the photos would have been great!

Good morning ~ Happy birthday to Rob today! We are celebrating this weekend with dinner out with the kids. I got him the golf shoes he wanted, old school Nike's and very cool. I'm not feeling well today and even went home a little early yesterday. I'm have training most of today and thought cool, I'll just WFH, but I have an in person onboarding meeting with my new hire and I can't miss that. I will go in late and push through.
QOTD - Since we cut cable, we have been finding SO much free content and I can't believe how much $ we wasted on cable. We've been having fun watching Taxi, I love Lucy and Happy Days the last few days. We are still able to watch all our usual shows with only $40ish worth of streaming. The only thing left to add is MAX still, I want to bundle that with the Hulu/Disney I already have. Books - all beach reads lately, one after the other. I have a few good books on my list and ready to read, but my mood is stuck in fluff and that is okay! Jennifer Weiner and Elin Hilderbrand mostly. I haven't listened to podcasts in a long time, they were my regular thing before audiobooks took over.
Accountability -Good - I ate small all day and made up for it last night. 176.9 today. Steps yesterday were 7,169 for the day. Today I was going to do a walking steps video but I am taking a rest day instead. I'm still very sore from the weight workout on Tuesday - my arms, pecks and thighs especially. I have a repeat of that work out scheduled for tomorrow.
