What's on your Monday Menu?
That is such a nice answer to QOTD: Rudy gets me on the floor every morning for a petting session. That is when I have to get off the floor. I lay flat then get to my knees after that it is easy. It is definitely a good tool to have as we get older.
HW 299 SW 290 CW 139 GW 140 2/08/2019 OPERATION: Surgical Hernia with excision of total surface area of 55 x 29 cm of abdominal skin.
That is a great advantage of having a pet. I always got on the floor with my cat to brush her and then practiced getting up without using my hands. Every senior person and I know I am a lot more senior than the rest of you, should do that every day. I don't have any pets so need to make it part of my exercise for the day.

Good morning and happy Monday! Are we ready for this week? Yes we are!!
I had a phenomenal weekend but an extra day to recover from it would have been awesome. Great music, amazing times with friends and family, some exercise, and a good movie makes being a little tired worth it, lol.
qotd - the genie could grant me unlimited teleportation, that would be cool.
work, eyebrows and hair cut today. Maybe try to be in bed by 8.

Mornin' All!
One of my film groups meets this morning, and I need to work on this house. I'm leaving for Cleveland - and then from there I'm headed to Vermont - on May 23, so I have a little over two weeks to get this house in order so the cat sitter doesn't have a heart attack when she walks in (DH will be here - but I'm still not wanting to scare the cat sitter (she'll be helping him with meds - three of the cats take meds, and DH can't do it by himself). I'm going to bike over to the meeting since it's a beautiful day again today. The last three days I've biked 22, 14, and 21 miles, respectively - and burned a boatload of calories (and I did NOT eat them back). This ride and back won't be nearly as long - maybe 10 miles round trip, but it'll still give me a nice deficit to start the day. If I can stay awake long enough (didn't sleep well last night), I may take another ride later this afternoon.
QOTD: two things pop into mind. One is the ability to keep my weight between 140-160 lbs without having to watch every freaking calorie. The other is keeping my house clean and organized all the time.
coffee with half & half
plain Greek yogurt with 1/2 C fruit salad (no dressing on it - just chopped fruit)
rye crumpet with butter and fig jam
protein shake
cheesecake-flavored. yogurt pie
Ratio yogurt or baby carrots with hummus
bagged salad and some kind of protein
have a great day, everyone!
