What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?

Very interesting since that is exactly what she couldn't do for herself - get up from the floor. I'm pretty busy/active, but not exercise/active. Luckily, nothing hurts (knocks on wood) and I feel pretty good, even though I am not doing all I can. I can't imagine how she feels on the daily. Everything must be so much much harder to do.

People used to say "Don't you feel so much better." My response was I never knew I felt bad until after weight loss. I always managed to not do stuff or avoid anything I could that would make me over exert myself or make me feel uncomfortable. We all did things to avoid pain. Sleeping was one thing that was hard with apnea and just the pressure from my weight on one part of my body for too long. I never could have got off the floor without looking like a sea turtle turned on his shell. I am grateful that I can get up now.

So grateful for this tool and it's worth all the hard work. I was feeling hopeless before my revision. It was worse for the reason you mentioned - the first time, we didn't know how bad things were. For the revision, I was very clear on what I lost and where I headed. I think the food/mental part is huge - my relationship with food was so harsh - good/bad, over restrictive, all or nothing. I'm so glad I went through with the revision. Now I know for sure (since I clearly doubted it before) that my tool is there and working. I just have to do the right thing and keep doing the right thing everyday.

Well you're killing it now and it seems you found a balance you can live with. I think we will all mentally beat ourselves up when we fall short some days. I believe this community keeps me in check, reels me back in and gives me grace. Can't live without this support.

That crap scares me about Tictok but not enough to take it off my phone. I may go to the casino and racetrack to watch the derby. If I do there will be a mint Julip involved for sure.

We will be watching from home because our class starts at 6:30. But its only one town over, so we should be able to get the race in.
