What's on your Tuesday Menu?
Good morning all and Happy Tuesday,
Happy Passover to those who celebrate.
Currently, I exchange emboldening statements daily with my best friend. Today, I will be kind to myself. I will be a beacon of positive energy. I will be a force to be reckoned with. I will be present. I will carpe diem the hell out of today.
QOTD- Anywhere with lax security. Seriously though, record store, comic book store, book store. Also, the requisite teenage activity of being Mall Rats and never buying anything. I guess the arcade counts.
B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.
L: Italian, Greek, or Cuban.
D: Ginger lime shrimp. Asparagus.
HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

There were no malls around here when I was growing up in the 60's. We went downtown and walked around Sears, JC Penney's, Kresges, Woolworths and lots of local stores. If I had a quarter, I went to Isaly dairy and had a milkshake. They served it in the metal container and you poured some into a glass and drank it with a straw. I thought it was the best treat and wished we could make them at home. No blenders in most kitchens back then.

G'morning all!
JB - your memes are always on point and crack me up. Sorry about the gerd's return.
Grim yesterday mentioned that they (the town) must love their Vespa's. Well, that was the perfect segue to my next group of pics. The town, Pontedera, is indeed proud of Vespa, it is their claim to fame. They would even tell you that during WWII this little town got bombed by Americans because of Piaggio (the factory that makes the Vespa) because during the war Piaggio was making plane engines. And to show their pride and love for their Vespa every single store in town had a Vespa in their front window. On a normal day they don't have these Vespas but this was the 75th anniversary and they were all in for celebrations and the influx of tourists. The first one, at the jewlery store, was made of legos.
The lat one was my brother's contribution at his office. He brought in his daughter's Barbie Vespa!
QOTD: my teenage stores were completely different than US stores. We didn't have big chains and bought mostly local.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Eggwich
- Protein Frosty, cold cuts
- Rotisserie chicken
- E: HIIT & weights
Happy taco Tue!
