Good morning all. It's Opening Day! The Sox are starting in Seattle, so first pitch is 10:10 pm in Boston. Yuck.

Lots more cooking today. Of got 40 pounds of cookie dough that needs baking, I need to cook the frosting for my German's chocolate cake, and a bunch of calzones to make.

QOTD: The only pizza I've ever had is our local pizza. The place we go has been making it for almost 100 years, in the same building. My only caveat is that I can't stand tomato sauce. So I have crust topped with extra cheese and extra hamburg, no sauce. Mmmmmmm.

No sauce, plus hamburger and cheese on dough...isn't that just an open face burger not a pizza? I mean, eat what you like and enjoy it but I think that's a burger in a different shape, lol

Hamburg - I haven't heard it called that in forever! Hamburg on a pizza back there is a must!! Here? Nope and they call it gr. beef or meatball. RIP - Harvard Pizza in downtown Northampton, MA, extra cheese, hamburg and onions - the best pizza ever!

John is heading to Oakland today. It'll be a mess with some going for the game, some going for the protesting and some doing both. They are trying to avoid too much protesting by not opening the gates u the 5 for a 7 game, I can't say I'm sad to miss how chaotic that'll be to get parked and in the stadium by first pitch.
