What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
Warsaw looks lovely. DH wants to go to Poland for our next trip, and I was thinking Krakow and Wroclaw, but maybe I should add Warsaw into the mix (the other two are medieval cities- Warsaw would have been at one time, of course, but it was heavily bombed during WW2, so I wasn't sure - but it does look really nice!!)

Krakow is beautiful, I spent a week there and a week in the Czech Republic a few years ago. Prague was barley damaged in ww2, at least for a building perspective

I wish my family was not so needy and I had a job with all the travel opportunities you are able to get. Granted for 5-10 years but I could not imagine doing it long term. I also would have preferred it in my 20.s and 30's. Thank you for letting us see your adventures your photos are amazing.

I am incredibly lucky to be able to take advantage of my work opportunities. It can get wearing but I choose to embrace the positive aspects!

The train was easy, the royal palace museum was interesting, if you have to take a late Friday conference call, doing it canal side in Amsterdam does not suck, dinner was excellent and the warm stroopwaffle was delicious!! Amazing even. Not super sweet (I say in spite of the caramel that I have everywhere) and yummy. I have half left for my late night snack!
Before and after waffle and waiting on my conference call to start.

You know, I'm pretty sure stroopwaffles are thin enough you can just slip them in a mailer and drop it in the post.
I'll be keeping my eyes open for an envelope with a waffled grease stain seeping through.

Oh, so you know how the ones we get in the store are very firm? Even after this cooles it was super tender/flakey and definitely not built for travel. Just picking it up off the table made some of it flake off.
