What's on your (PHOTO) Friday Menu?
G'morning all!
QJB - yay for things moving fast and interviews happening. I'll be thinking of you today 7:00 am my time and sending good thoughts your way. Your hair is getting long. I remember when we "met" you had it chin length.
Got my third session of iron infusion and boy it was hard. I was told my veins are really easy to find, so I think they had a couple of new nurses practice on me. The first one, from what I understood, had the needle all the way in and flushed with the skin so the machine kept beeping and stopping. The second one was insistent at inserting into the same spot and couldn't do it. The third nurse chose to go with the back of my hand. The head nurse walked away saying you got this, I'm not gonna breathe behind your neck. I on the other hand really wanted her to supervise. This time it was more successful, although the whole time it was burning while the last two sessions I didn't feel a thing. I am very grateful I am done. Next step is to check the iron levels in about a month.
QOD: nope nope nope. I'm not against tattoos on other people but I can never see myself doing it. Not even those mother-daughter bonding things, or friends getting same tattoos or whatever. Nope, not me.
I am so freaking proud of this baby blanket. Our neighbors helped us with a possible intruder situation while we were gone. I wanted to thank them and didn't think a box of chocolate from Hawaii was enough. They had a new baby in the family right around Xmas, so I thought as a thank you I can make the baby a blanket. I don't know the nursery theme or colors but figured if you live by the ocean an ocean theme blanket should work.
