I knew a fellow that had no sense of smell. He put ketchup on everything. I don't know why just maybe it helped with the texture part I am guessing. Also, when we sold enteral feeding supplies, I always wondered why tube feed patients cared about the flavor. I found out it is because if they burp, they can taste it.

Good morning and happy Wednesday! Halfway through, we are!

Good luck with all the follow up on the job opportunities.

QOTD 1 - I am not rude but I only eat what I choose to. There's a lot of ways to get around it without eating something to be polite.

QOTD - What would you bring to the role that's unique and makes you stand out from the other candidates?

Busy full day at work, then head to the airport to do a couple calls from there, should get to the hotel about 8 so not too bad. I'll get some rowing in this morning and hopefully a lot of walking the airport too.

menu today

coffee plus half and half X3

yogurt

salami and cheese on pretzel slider bun

tbd something on the way to the hotel

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

QJB that's exciting to see progress! I know I'm seeing a lot more jobs on LinkedIn too - "new year, new budget, who dis?". I'm swing all the chickens!

QOTD: no not really. I mean if it's something I'm not crazy about but it's tolerable, I'll eat it. If it is something I do not eat, like red meat, I'll just have whatever else there is (and there is always a salad or something). Funny question - I'm going to a dinner party on Saturday and the host is making duck which isn't something I enjoy but I didn't say anything because I know I can enjoy the appetizers and sides!

Interview question: Walk me through a time you've had to take disciplinary action at a school and what resulted from that situation.
I've got less than a clue about today's food. It's all Hilton ballroom food, all day. Blech.

Oh! And hi! I'm alive! Our flight was delayed two hours and the flight attendants had to stay seated for their safety and there was some turbulence but it wasn't awful. I did tell my seatmate not to be afraid if I held his hand lol. He was super nice, but I didn't need to. Ha.

I guess being a scared of flights flyer can be a good conversation starter with seat mates. I hardly talk to people on the flights. I pull out my kindle and have the do-not-talk-to-me-this-is-my-time face. But if I ever saw your smily face I would talk to you and hold your hand.

I really dislike heights. Climbing a tall ladder, working on a roof. But flying is not "heights" in my head. It doesn't bother me. But it does seem practically impossible that something that big and heavy can actually fly.

Having said that, I could probably sit down and make a list of all the flights I've taken. I'm a driver, not a flyer.

My grandma used to stay up on intercontinental flights; she was worried if she fell asleep the pilot would fall asleep too, just like when she was in the car with my grandpa. The first time we flew together I couldn't stop laughing at her wide alert eyes.

This is my mom too! She thinks she needs to be alert for that reason! Hilarious.

the only thing that freaks me out about flying is landing. I don't like all the braking and bouncing on the runway - I'm always worried we're going to crash into something.
