I had to finally put a sign on my door "PLEASE PUT ALL PACKAGES INSIDE THIS DOOR" otherwise they were leaving them out in the rain. It's an enclosed porch not the entrance to my house. You got this!

My Mom had porch pirates but they only opened the box and left everything. It says Chewy in big blue letters, but they were disappointed it was only cat food.

My iRobot vac mop is named Goofy and Goofy just had his first birthday. It does a great job and I very rarely mop or vacuum anymore.

Well I have a double ear infection with a possible perforation to my left ear drum. Crazy since I haven't had a issue like this in 24 years. I knew I shouldn't have gotten a dog (allergic to dogs, cats and all sorts of other critters) , but I love my crazy girl so I will suffer through what ever just to keep her and me happy.

I've eaten just soup today and drank over a gallon of water not including coffee and tea. Just going to chill for the night after taking my antibiotics.

Have a nice night everyone.

QJB- your resolution cookies are cute. Unfortunately, I really don't participate in social media. I sometimes peek at other people's posts but don't post myself. What sites do you post on? Perhaps I could "like" your posts if the site notifies me of a new post.

I have been diligent with getting to the gym this week. I have completed a weight machine circuit 3 times this week. Plus, hot yoga 4 different times (Hatha, Vinyasa, Power, and Fusion). It is funny that in the hot yoga class I haven't sweated. I get hot but no sweat. Maybe my body needs to re-regulate itself...it is curious. I don't think I am dehydrated since I have been able to bump up my fluid intake to around 64 oz daily. This is much less intake than I was used to pre-surgery (most recent surgeries). The biggest issue with fluid intake is the more I drink the more trips to the bano. The post-op advice is to "sip to hydrate". I set a timer for every 12 minutes. This can be a challenge at times as I would like to drink a lot more at a time. Hopefully that will change over time. Diet is still a work in progress trying to determine what does and doesn't cause an increase in diarrhea. For example, yesterday I had a small spinach salad that caused diarrhea. I swear I had just finished eating it and it had already passed through the GI track! I guess that will go on the "bad" food list. I have referred myself to a GI specialist at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester to see if they can help me with symptom relief. I filled out an intake form and I am waiting to see if they will accept me. It is interesting that the AZ Mayo is not contracted with my insurance but the one in Rochester is not. AT this time of year, I would prefer to go to AZ. However, I am not willing to pay the price to see a non-contracted provider. Both places have specialists in SBS.

Today (Saturday) I am meeting a friend for lunch but not much else planned for the day. Taking the day off from the gym.

QOTD: I did not make any resolutions this year. I suppose my resolution is to regain strength and muscle, resolve my foot drop issue, and control the SBS diarrhea. Some of that may be beyond my control.

Have a great weekend.
