Good Morning Queen JB and Menuers,

OMG how did Christmas turn into a 4-day event. That was way too much holiday for me. Party Friday Saturday and Sunday and hosted dinner for 10 yesterday. I did dinner mostly by myself, so I am exhausted today. I got to admit the only thing that went awry was my guest timing. I said 3 and I get a text at 3:16 saying That they were on their way but had to pick up the mom. That put them there at 4 and dinner wasn't served till 5. I held it together and no one died in the process. I made sure my mom was having her soup and appetizers so that she didn't try to cram it in quickly and not have room to eat anymore.

QOTD: No they all did good this year.

Accountability: My body is so swelled up from all the carbs I Definity have a carb hangover today.

TSS: 6 years 0-months 15-days 164.6 Lowest (129.4)

B: Coffee with SF coffee mate chocolate caramel creamer

MS: Friendly farms vanilla Greek yogurt, and berries

CB: Coffee with SF coffee mate chocolate caramel creamer

Cookies. I usually have on my Coffee table; however, Rudy then thought it was a buffet set out for him. I just set them on the table until I was able to clear the appetizers off of the island.

Good morning last week of the year. I'm ready for you. We had a nice few days. My heart stayed calm and I embraced things that made me happy. Had a wonderful dinner at my daughter's yesterday and made a great dinner on Christmas eve. Not everything was exactly on program for me, but there were no blow outs.

I like to challenge myself with mini goals. I am not at all competitive with others, but if I have a goal, I usually will go out of my way to meet it. Last Monday, I gave myself 3. Two were personal and emotional in nature, so I'll keep them to myself. The third one was to exercise every day last week for a minimum of 30 minutes. Not only did I exercise all 7 days, I ended up with 471 minutes of exercise for the week. I worked out yesterday as well. So good for my mental health and my scale is moving in the direction I want.

We have the grands today and plan on going to tour our farmer's farm. The girls will get to help harvest and learn about planting and weed and bug control. This is done all naturally at this farm. Using things like cardboard for weed control. Both girls have colds, so I'm hoping everyone still feels up to going in a few hours!

QoTD: If I do a return, I generally wait a week or two. Those long lines are full of crabby people and make me crazy.

Food today...

B: 1-2 slices of bacon, 1 egg

L: leftover shakshuka

D: turkey breast, stuffing, mashed potato, gravy. Last meal I'm cooking for Dad this trip, and we've had none of these yet!

Peace Everybody.

Hopefully they have the girls harvesting vegetable rather than animals.
