It's very early here in Kauai, although for the rest of you it's almost mid day! JB, did you know Kauai is known for being a rooster island? They are feral and all over the place. When I saw your meme I thought yup, that's me in Kauai.
Yesterday I arrived about 4:00 pm at my final destination. My mission is to make sure the place looks xmas-y before the kids arrive tomorrow. Went to two places for Xmas tree (fake, small, lighted) with no luck. Today I'll be all over the island looking for a xmas tree. Last night I wrapped all the presents, it was very laborious with one T-Rex arm but by 10:00 pm local time the mission was accomplished.
QOTD: I heard this song the first xmas I was here in US. I was on my way to work and I almost went off road I was laughing so hard. I had never heard it and I don't think it's played anywhere else but here; Grandma got run over by a reindeer. I love it so much that when we all had ring tones on our phones my Xmas ring tone was that song. It's a funny song and brings a smile to my face. My MIL got offended when she heard it's my favorite song, because she thought I was thinking of her...she is not completely wrong!!!
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Barebells bar, epic chicken
- Some sort of cheese spread with wheat thins
- Built bars, mixed nuts
