B: one hard boiled egg mashed with cottage cheese and EBB jalapeño

L: Smoked trout from TJs plus a piece of cheese and a cup of broth (broth first!)

D: making pasta with ground turkey sauce for the fam so probably some of that!

Sadly no workout today, I got an early meeting which meant I had to cancel my class. Sad face.

I thought it was probably a slang term that I did not understand. Never occurred to me that it was autocorrect. I was wondering how you got greasy and if it was a Chicago thing?

I was just assuming that's what they did to pack people in.

I feared a bankruptcy. Lauren had $11,600 and she was getting greedy. Marilyn heard me scream, "Nooo Lauren" from her perch in the kitchen.

But the wheel landed on $650. And then it hit me. She wasn't greedy.

She didn't know answer to the puzzle.

"Is there a B?"

"I'm sorry, Lauren"

The sweet lady to her left apologized also, called out "Honey-Mustard Glazed Ham" and won a trip to Oahu.

Later, in the afterglow of the Bonus Round, Pat awarded the $1,000 consolation prize and wished her well.

"When I get home, I'm going to glaze something."

Yesterday, the tennis ladies made toffee and caramels. It started with Prosecco at 10:00 and didn't end until my train pulled into the station at 5:45. Actually, it went past that, because the caramels had to cool before being cut and wrapped, which happened after wheel.

I haven't tried the caramels, but the toffee is delicious. Coated in chocolate on both sides and dipped in crushed pecans. Today, it's back to the Bumble, though. A package came from Bay containing more lights, so the surgery continues.

The weekend should be a good one. My last trip to the Palm for 2023. Crossfit tonight and tomorrow morning. Saturday afternoon is a mixology class with the tennis ladies and their significant others. Matt, we decided to go to Forbidden Root for dinner. That wouldn't have been my choice - mayonnaise seems to factor heavily in their menu. Nevertheless, I think that i can enjoy the Duck and Dumplings while staying far away from the Devil's Condiment.

My youngest comes home on Saturday night. Sunday will be haircut, packing for the cruise Secret Santa Shopping.

QOTD: I think that you already knew this, but I use whatever Marilyn buys. Which seldom changes.
