Good morning JB and Menu folks. Another busy week in the books, professionally and personally. So much to do and so little time. I had a cold call on Wednesday evening from a former co worker, said they want to hire me for a new position. threw a salary out there immediately and added that I could name my price. I declined, for the first time in my life I work for someone I respect, trust and would go through a wall for. I worked hard to get where I am at this point in my life and while this looked like an attractive offer, it just is not at this point in my life.

How exciting that Chloe gets to come home!! Having a leader you trust and want to work for is important, glad that's the position you are in!

since you have a job you like and management you respect (and also like!), keep it. Too many less-than-satisfactory jobs out there. I had a couple of them I ended up not being happy with, and they can make your whole life miserable, since you spend so many hours at work. Probably the main reason I spent 16+ years at my last one - I was very happy there. Can't say the same about a couple of my previous workplaces. You made the right choice!

I'm sure that was a tough decision to make but I think it's great you're at a place that makes you happy. Have fun with Chloe.
