Good Morning! Well this guy is whole lot smarter than me! I only managed to sleep from 9:30pm - 1:30am. I stayed in bed and watched TikTok videos until 3am but now I am up, drinking coffee and counting the hours until 9am when I can break my fast. I think I will get started on my marathon baking day soon as a distraction. I decorated a zillion Christmas cookies yesterday and I need to get more baked so I can keep going.

QOTD: Do you have a ritual that is the same every single day, no matter what? I have a few. First, before I get out of bed, I always do Wordle and Connections. Then tumble out of bed and stumble to the kitchen (feed the cats) then pour myself a cup of ambition. And at night, Fezzik always "puts me to bed". He waits until I am settled in, then jumps up on my pillow, nuzzles into my neck, puts his paw on my face and waits for me to fall asleep before he leaves and does cat stuff all night. Recently, since Grim has not been able to come to bed, Fez has been extra attentive and every time I roll over he is there to do the ritual all over again. It's not terribly conducive to sleeping, so I begged him to leave me alone last night. To my amazement--he did! But that made it worse, because all night I was worried about where he was and whether he was locked in another room or something.

Accountability: IF was a little easier yesterday. I was hungry before I went to bed but I drank tea and didn't cave in. Partly Pollyanna recommended some good teas to try (thank you!) and I'll try to use that as a defense against evening munchies.

  • Egg White Bites
  • Dinner is TBD b/c Grim's daughter is coming over for Christmas movies and take out :) Chances are that dinner will be after my fast is supposed to start at 5pm. Anyone know how to get back on track from an off day? Do I just go back on schedule in the morning or do I wait to eat until later tomorrow?

Good morning and yay for jr Friday.

qotd - not really, in the morning I usually get out of bed as soon as I'm awake, Weigh myself and put on work out clothes and then make coffee. The workout clothes helps me a lot because once you've put on a sports bra, might as well get some use out of it. At night, I see all electronics aside except the kindle at least an hour before I want to go to sleep, does that count?

full work day today and travel home, tricky part will be figuring out what point I can go phone only and drive to the airport since I neglected to block out travel, return the car and get to the gate time. Oops. I'll get rental gas on my way to the office so that will help. I also just got back from the hotel gym so I have that in!

Wow, that totally counts. I am so terrible about putting my phone away before bed. Without he help of the cat, I doubt I would ever put it away, lol.

Your rituals totally count! I agree about once the workout clothes are on it's happening. A girl I used to chat with at the gym slept in her workout clothes so she could roll out of bed and just go.

Good mornin y'all!

I got a lot accomplished yesterday. My mom wanted me to make fudge so I made three different kinds. Coconut, PB and milk chocolate. I had a small piece of the coconut and a tiny taste from the others...you know quality control...LOL. The coconut is dangerously good so I am glad we'll be giving away a lot of it this next week. I do make killer fudge. I also got about 15 inches added to the belt I'm making and only 15 more to go. Hoping to get it shipped out by the end of the week next week. I'm aiming to get it done today but I'm not going to set that as a firm to do.

I'm in a lot of pain this morning but I've got to ignore it. We are going to the thrift store to meet my SIL. We might do a few other things but I'm not sure yet. I don't think there is an awful lot planned. I did find something for my nephew! I got him a stuffed animal that's a cat...it's 36 inches long! He is going to love it. He is big on his lovies. So I am done with Christmas shopping. I have my secret Santa gift going out today and I just am waiting on packages to arrive. I do need to make a few things for my nieces and a cube for my nephew.

QOTD: not anything in particular that I can think of. I have to open the sweetener packets a certain way but I think that is heavily OCD territory LOL

food is terribly unplanned. I am going to do a few shakes to make sure my stomach isn't upset tomorrow. Probably a shake for lunch or dinner.
