I know...it's cheesy LOL
Good mornin y'all! Hoping he weekend has been good to you so far.
I'm not sure if he is for certain coming over but my brother and the kids might come over today.
I don't think I mentioned it but the hospital I am supposed to have my myelogram at Friday was involved in the recent ransomware attack on hospitals. So it may not happen this week. I haven't heard it isn't but I don't know if they have straightened it up enough to do it. I know their patient portal is still down.
Depending on my brother we'll probably go to the grocery store to get a f3 little things or something to eat for them.
QOTD: what is one of your most favorite special food items? Like a certain fancy chocolate or specialty thing?
My late best friend used to get me chocolate covered figs from a certain deli(Zimmerman's deli). They imported them from Italy I do believe. I've had other brands that are good but these were like gold. I could pace myself too, one every other day at most because they were special. As for non sweet things I do love a good challah but that's hard to find here!
B: eggs, yogurt and coffee x2
L: depends on my brother
D: salad.

Good morning ~ Ransomware is a nightmare. i hope you are able to get that straightened out. Our Courts delinquent collections (3rd party collection agency) was a victim of ransomware. They have been frozen since September but the courts have found a new agency. Just thinking of all the personal info they have on people and dark web who knows what - it's crazy.
I slept in until 5:15 today - woo-hoo! Moving very slow though because... The party was FABULOUS! The food and the service at The Ivy were incredible, talk about well oiled machine. Every last detail was just perfect. We started with gin ****tails and crab cakes - to die for. Then wine and I had the cold seafood platter which was lobster, shrimp, oysters and tuna tartare - my heaven! Rob got the swordfish which was melt in your mouth amazing also. For desert we had espresso affogato and the famous chocolate chip cookies -crazy good. What an amazing experience! Rob's office is all incredibly brilliant and crazy town - the boss? Nothing like I thought which was older, stuffy and mature. She was drop dead gorgeous, passionate, loud, inappropriate and my age. All had HUGE personalities, very LA - so fun!
Accountability - Today is recovery from the gastro assault. I got on the scale because I had to know and I was shocked to see 195, which is down from yesterday.
QOTD - I can't think of any specialty item. Just certain foods from the restaurants of my youth. I can't stop thinking of the yummy chicken fingers and the dipping sauce from Chinese Kitchen in my hometown. I never see chicken fingers on the menu out here.
B- coffee x4 and a nap
l- chicken, spicy cauli rice wrap in the air fryer
d - turkey meatloaf and mash/gravy
cals 824/69
v/w on track w/reminders
e - walking dogs at park
Have a great day

That ramsonware attack is terrible. They haunt me whenever I think of them. One of the ladies I worked with went through identity theft when it was a brand new thing. That was more than 20 years ago and she still will sometimes receive a random bill from an account someone opened using her social security number. Things are much better monitored now, but it is still upsetting.
Amy Liz that was a amazing experience. I am so glad to hear about it and congratulations on 195. It is really better to lose weight long and slow and keep it off. It is so hard after weight loss surgery and you are sticking to it.
In Ohio, we had a restaurant about 50 years ago called Turkey Heaven. It was close to Amish country and had all Amish cooks and waitstaff. You could go there any day of the year and have a fabulous Thanksgiving dinner. The turkey, stuffing, homemade cranberry sauce, vegetables, mashed potatoes, and gravy were all served family style. Everything was all you could eat. There was hot homemade bread and rolls and farm fresh butter.
The carrots were cooked someway that was not sweet but amazing flavor. Amish cooks are really good. After dinner the waitress brought the dessert carts to the table. All of the cakes and pies were homemade. The restaurant was always full and the prices were very reasonable.
We went there for years and really missed it when the owners closed it and retired.

It is SO hard, but I am determined!! I hope to make it to my goal weight by April 10th. It'll be my first surgiversay since the revision.
That restaurant sounds like it was a real treasure.
