Hmm. For this particular trip I'm a bit happy there's an itinerary and I don't have to worry about getting from place to place. I'm excited for the tortoises and maybe frigate birds. All the wildlife. I'm even bringing a small pair of binoculars. I'm excited for kayaking since it's been so long. I'm excited to be back on the water since it was a passion of mine for years that Ihaven't been able to connect with since moving out here. I'm excited for sunrises on deck with a cup of tea and for learning from the naturalist. And having the chef on board doesn't hurt. :) This is a bucket list trip, for sure.

Nioxim worked wonders for me. Three years after RNY my scalp had very little hair. I was good at hiding it and hairdressers would gasp when they wet my hair and saw how little was there. One went her beauty supply and purchased the Nioxim and bought it to my house.

I did not think it would help but after a month I saw a lot of new growth and in six months my scalp was no longer showing through my hair. I used it for another six months and my hair really filled in and I no longer needed any fake hair pieces or any of that powder that hides the scalp.

There are newer and probably better products now. Please find a hairstylist that specializes in thinning hair and get on a program. Kerinique seems to be the leader now, but I was at a Supercuts recently and saw Nioxim on the shelf.

Thank you for sharing! I'd heard of Rogaine but not this. Looks like it's pretty available, so I'll look into it. Appreciate you!

This is true. There are calculations for what I need to get done to keep things moving while I'm gone. One more day!

Good mornin y'all! Good luck to Grim today! Will keep him in my thoughts today.

Not a whole lot planned today. I'm sure something will pop up but I'd be content to stay home all day. My mom did go to an NP yesterday and she does have a UTI. She started meds yesterday so I hope she'll be feeling better ASAP.

I tried a supposedly very hard design yesterday and by the second piece I didn't even need the tutorial. I only mention this because the dude who made this design had lifted a design of mine...or as he put it, borrowed. I was pressured into giving him the green light to make a tut for it and stupid me gave in. It was at a bad time mentally and I was weak. I don't like the guy or his wife so I felt good that I did their design so easily. The lady I do work for had the tut so I didn't even have to pay for it. :-p

I'll be doing more chainmaille today. I need to make stock for my boss. I'm waiting on a few things for Christmas gifts to be shipped. I'm making my nieces and nephew a few things for Christmas and then buying a joint game for the switch for them for Christmas. I need to find a nice watch head for my mom. My nephew is getting a cube made from chainmaille and a ball bearing. The nieces are getting a necklace/pendant.

QOTD: I am with CH, I love world market for local stores. There is also a place in Santa Fe called jackelopes that I absolutely adore. They have a lot of imported stuff and it's on a sprawling site. They have all sorts of stuff. I have a collection of Mexican folk art that started there. Esp their cats. I would not not visit it if I were headed that way. I got my first taste for my favorite coffee there...pinion!

B: eggs, yogurt and coffee x2

L: salad

D: ????

a pic of the complicated piece and a funny meme.

Your Qotd response is a funny convergence for me - I've had to pick up NM piñon coffee at world market and mail it to friends when they didn't have a WM nearby and that's their mainstay coffee.

Hmm...I'll have to pick some up next time I'm at World Market. I don't really spend much time looking at their coffee because we always get coffee at Aldi - but I'll check it out when I'm next in there!

I think WM medium roast but on the website of the actual maker you can get the three different roasts. My mom likes the blonde but I prefer the dark!

They have one called adobe morning that's really good. Has a bit of cinnamon in it. They also have coffee syrups but unfortunately they are not sugar free.
