Happy Thanksgiving Menu Friends!

Happy Thanksgiving! I am so thankful for all of you who have kept me honest and provided so much support and kindness over the years.
People are coming at 12pm and we are hoping to sit down to eat between 2 - 3. I have been running around all morning to prep everything so here is to hoping I am burning off more calories than I am taking in. Doubtful, since I already had a few slices of bacon and a peanut butter square this morning, but I can dream, right?
QOTD: I don't really care anymore. There was a time that I was annoyed to hear it before Thanksgiving, but now I think that if it's bringing someone joy to hear it in September, that's great. Bring on the joy! If you don't like it--switch the station.
Things that will be at our table today. I will try very hard not to have more than a tablespoon of any if it, except for the turkey (*and the sangria).
- Turkey & Gravy
- Cranberry Sauce
- Stuffing
- Mashed Potatoes
- Sweet Potatoes
- Mac & Cheese
- Rolls
- Corn
- Peanut Butter Squares
- Apple Pie
- Cookies
- & Cranberry Sangria

Good morning all and Happy Thanksgiving,
Reminder to all to eat, drink, and be merry today. Eat tons of turkey. Hug your family and friends. Tripping off tryptophan doesn't count as doing drugs.
I'm heading up to my mom's with my sister. We went from 30+ gatherings to just us 3. I love the no fuss Thanksgiving of current day.
Accountability: I want all the noise.
B: turkey sausage, pumpkin flavored biscuits and turkey gravy.
L: Turkey Hot dogs with cranberry and stuffing on a cornbread bun.
D: pumpkin cheerios in cream of mushroom soup with dried green beans and fried onions.
Just joshing... There will be turkey and all the fixings. I'll be doing a pp shake for lunch. Gobble gobble.

You had me going too! I read it several times before seeing you were kidding, lol. Genius or mad, I wasn't sure.

Good morning and Happy Thanksgiving! I am very grateful to have found you all. Some days, you make me snort with laughter. I always know I'm going to have a good day when that happens.
I added skinny pop to my eats yesterday. I just should not buy it as I wasn't hungry, it was just calling my name from the pantry. Other than that, I did pretty well. Didn't get any real exercise, but between PT and loading the rig, at least I wasn't on the couch all day.
We are leaving in a couple hours for the drive to the desert. That will take about 2 hours. I need to load out the fridge still. Couldn't get it cooled down enough yesterday. Because here in San Diego, we are having temps in the 80's for Thanksgiving. It's a T shirt and shorts holiday around here. The thing I am most excited to present to the Thanksgiving day table, you ask? The Turkey shaped butter I found in the store. The grands are going to love it. The thing I am most excited to eat? Mashed potatoes with butter and turkey gravy. And leftovers. The kids are deep frying the turkey and that's a first for me. Looking forward to food, card games, crafts with the grands and the nice bottle of Syrah that I picked out for after dinner around the campfire. I still really don't have fluid with food as I get uncomfortable real fast and I want room for those potatoes. But wine and fire is a great way to end the day.
other eats
B: leftover edamame pasta with chicken italian sausage. Maybe fry an egg to top it with
L: something easy. Beef jerky and string cheese?
D: A bit of everything and seconds on what calls my name.
Peace everybody. I wish that your tables are filled today with food, family, friendship and laughter.

I'm so thankful for OH and all of the wonderful people on this site who have made me laugh and given me support. I couldn't make it without all of you!
5 1/2 more hours of work and then I'll be off until tomorrow. I plan to watch my Seahawks lose tonight, I am about to give up watching this season. It just makes me feel hopeless. I know I shouldn't take it so seriously but I can't seem to help it. Is there a 12 step program to detox from football?
QOTD- we have a station here that plays all Christmas music starting I believe on Nov 1, I avoid it like the plague. My Mom used to get the Christmas albums out on Thanksgiving. There are only a few Christmas songs I like.
Have a great day everyone!
