What's on your Monday Menu?
Good morning JB and Menu Friends! JB, I give you all the credit in the world, I could not for a minute bake cookies, I would eat 2 for 1....I can smell your kitchen from here.
Busy weekend, Joddie and I went to a craft fair on Saturday, benefit for our neighbor on Saturday ( 35 y/o father of 3 found out last month he has a genetic condition and his heart is failing, pumping at 24% and hoping meds can increase level to the 30 % range. Transplant list is 35%. He is a Border Patrol agent with 15 years of service. Great kid. Puts things in perspective)
I worked on installing snow guards on my tin roof yesterday, 4 x 10 foot rails done in the front of house, I am afraid of heights...LOL and I did not realize what a workout spending 2+ hours on a ladder would be. My legs are killing me...LOL
I also woke up this morning and stepped on the scale and was down from Friday! I have dropped 14 pounds in 8 weeks. My appetite and craving level really seems like the honeymoon phase!
I just realized that Yesterday was my Surgiversary! 9 years. I am Thankful for each and everyone of you. I rely on this forum and always have, even when I am not posting. ( I am sure you realize, when I step away...I am not doing well...LOL)

Thank you! I had visited a Bariatric program about 5 years prior to 2014, I was not ready at that time and looking back, I probably would have failed had I followed through at that time. I am very happy with my journey and is the best thing I could have done for my health and well being!
