What's on your Monday Menu?
Glad you found a cream that helps. Chicago Winters are brutal on skin. I like your idea about T Swift(is that her moniker?) turning heel. Maybe she will pick up Mrs. Kelsey and body slam her. Travis will be in such shock that he throws the game. Then all the TSwift fans declare a fatwa and take over the NFL. CHAOS REIGNS!

Good morning ~ Fairlife protein shakes are so good and I've used them to gain control many times. Getting back on track is hard as hell - you got this!! The weekend was lazy and I didn't accomplish all the things around the house although I made a dent. No biggie - it'll still be there. I am looking so forward to the long weekend and the 3 day work week! That also means my deadlines are much shorter in business days. C'est la vie. Today is the very last day for one of my staff that is leaving (the one I hope to win back with the re-org that is supposed to be approved tomorrow). We have borrowed him from his new department 2 days a week for the last month. I'm picking up pizza's to celebrate, should be nice day. Otherwise things are going really well with the staff I have. The temp assigned from another unit may stay with my unit, yay!
QOTD - Yes, I'm done-ish with Rob and kiddo though not wrapped yet. I found out the hard way not to wrap too soon because then I don't remember what I bought. My lists don't help, I need to see what it is! We don't do any gift exchange with the rest of the family which is great. I'll make Christmas crack and give gift cards to my staff/boss, Rob with make fudge and butter balls for his mom/boss, some friends and our sweet neighbors, but I think that is it.
Accountability - good - switched food around all weekend but all on plan. 197 day 5.
B- coffee x 4, cottage cheese
l - pizza toppings off 2 pieces, then walk away form the pizza boxes
d - Chili w/chopped onions and greek yogurt
s- cucumbers/tomatoes

Mornin' All!
OK so I REALLY need to plan my Thanksgiving menu because I need to do some shopping for it. The stores are only going to get more crowded the closer we get to the big day. I do have a turkey breast which I'll take out of the freezer as soon as I'm done with this (thanks for the reminder, Grim!) - I also have some sweet potatoes and stuffing (and onions and celery to add to it). I may just buy a pumpkin pie at Costco this year. One less thing I'll have to make, and at $5.99, they're a good deal. It'd cost me probably $4 or so to make one myself, plus...the time.
book group meeting this morning, class this afternoon (last one until after Thanksgiving - good - great time to get caught up again!). I'll do some walking as well since I didn't get any exercise yesterday.
QOTD: we don't do holiday shopping any more (thankfully!). We're all old and we're trying to get RID of stuff, rather than accumulating more! Our Christmases have become more like Thanksgiving - i.e., a festive meal and a day with family (although we usually do lasagna instead of turkey)
coffee with half & half
either pumpkin yogurt or plain skyr (with fruit compote)
rye crumpet with butter & jam
turkey meat - maybe on a salad (my friend gave me her carcass to make stock (they had their Thanksgiving yesterday) - it still had about 2 cups of meat on it!!)
Ratio yogurt
miso-ginger chicken salad - or more turkey meat
have a great day, everyone!
Good Morning! It's still hard to believe it's Thanksgiving week, I hope those traveling or having family travel to you have no issues and all goes smooth. Our weekend was pretty uneventful, I did have to work a few hours since today is check distribution day but I am grateful I was able to just do it from home.
