Same. I always end up letting it thaw a little on the counter, though it's strongly recommended not to.

I saw this. And food safety wise, it is better. That being said, I couldnt figure out how you get the bag of "stuff" out of the neck when its frozen in there

That and when to season were the big discussions. Turns out they address that too - say to take the stuff out of the cavity about halfway through cooking and that's also when you add your aromatics to the cavity. We're not doing it but they seem to have covered off in all the questions, lol

Good mornin y'all.

Not to sure what today'll hold. I need to clean and do some laundry. Mainly vacuuming. I also need to do a bathroom cleaning. I feel exhausted so it may be a long day. We'll probably have to run to the grocery store as I forgot to get a lemon yesterday...even though I had the list in my hand. It was just so busy and I had reached my people limit...lol.

QOTD: I've somewhat started. I haven't heard anything about the portrait I got for my mom so this reminds me to contact the artist. Other than that I have only planned what to get. I'm getting the kids a joint video game and then some trinkets I'll make. I'm giving money to my brother and SIL. My mom...I don't know what else I'll get her. I may get the kit to maker her a pair of moccasins or buy her a pair. She wants ones that are leather soled. I'll probably buy her an already made pair depending on the price.

B: oatmeal and coffee

L: probably a salad

D: no clue.

Good morning, everybody!

My shins and calfs get really dried out during the winter. Less humidity and the forced air heater going all of the time. So, I tried this Gold Bond Diabetic skin cream. It seemed like a better idea than continuing to scratch until my legs bleed.

The cream works pretty good. The label says that it will start working within an hour and only requires application every 24 hours. That is kind of optimistic, but after a week of twice a day, I can definitely see improvement. I'm not scratching, the cuts are healed and they even feel a little less dry. Im going to stick with this product.

Good weekend. Friday night Crossfit was tough with 35 pound front rack walking lunges, but it helped me get a 9 hour sleep, so well worth it. Saturday was gym, football and picking up the boys from the airport. The new Indian take out place was great. Yesterday was pretty relaxed.

I'm in the office today, gym tonight and then Monday Night Football. I do not expect a wrestling heel performance from Taylor Swift. Although it would be pretty funny if she tore off her fake Chiefs shirt to reveal Eagles underneath it.

QOTD: I was going to start yesterday, but Marilyn came home and we got to chatting. I will do it over vacation, but mostly online.

Breakfast: English Muffin

Lunch: Catered

Dinner: Stuffed Peppers

Have a great day, all!

Glad you found a cream that's working. We don't get nearly as cold here but my hands get so dry they crack. I have some steroid ointment I have to use at night when they get really bad.

I get skin cracks a lot in winter. The best thing I've found is called Working Hands, but it works on any cracked skin.

I use a product called Atractain by Coloplast. They us it in nursing Facilities. I am sure you can get it on Amazon. It is great for cracked red skin. I use it on my feet and if I do say so myself, they look great.
