What's on your Thursday Menu?
G'morning all!
Oooh, I love crockpot season
QJB - good call. If you know for sure you are not gonna take the offer why waste your time and theirs. Good things will come your way down the line, I'm sure of that.
I have a pre op appt today for my shoulder. My brother and my mom are very much against me having this surgery. My bro even made fun of me that I'm no Wimbledon tennis player, and if I have lived with the shoulder so far why go in and mess with it. According to him once they do that I won't be the same, and there will be other complications. On the other hand my trainer's son had the shoulder surgery with the same ortho surgeon and is on his way to recovery. Admitted, he is a 19 year old boy but I'm thinking same surgeon; why should there be any complications when my case is even more simple than his. Anyway I have decided to be positive, look on the bright side and continue with this surgery which will be next Tuesday.
QOD - yes! Have skied since I was 3-4 years old. My absolute favorite winter sport. Unfortunately since living in CA have not been skiing as often as I used to. Also during winter the surf is really good so DH doesn't want to leave town during the weekends. In the recent years we have come up with some sort of compromise but still I don't ski as often as I'd like.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Hb eggs + tuna
- Iced coffee w/PP, built puff bar
- Left over ceviche
- E: 6.2 miles wog + weights
Happy almost Fri-yay!

He likes snow boarding, but not when it conflicts with the best time of year for surfing.

Winter is better for surfing? I'm guessing bigger waves? The colder water can't be fun.

Yup, bigger better waves. Up here water is cold no matter what time of year, so wet suits all year around.

Crockpots have a season? Damn I use mine all year long. Also, I had shoulder surgery, and My arm feels better than ever. If you have the right surgeon, it will do wonders.

Good morning ~ I totally understand cancelling the interview - you know what you want, focus on that. The right job is waiting for you. I slept hard all night and didn't wake up until the alarm. I actually missed checking the clock and seeing I had 3 more hours, 2 more hours... just boom - get up. I had a good day yesterday. My meeting with the staff person went a completely different way than I thought. In the end, all was fine and I didn't have to recommend she be reassigned. Today I have a couple of quick meetings, then lunch with my sister at her house so I can check out the progress on her remodel. Football tonight and then we roll into Friday - yay!
QOTD - I haven't been skiing since the late 80's. Cross country in Jr and Sr high gym- class every year - sweaty mess in freezing temps is right - no joke going to class after that. Downhill many times, it was fun. Now my knees hurt just thinking about it so I'll join you at the lodge.
I made zucchini for dinner last night. It is such a innocent veggie but I just don't like it - why do I keep forgetting that?
Accountability - perfect. 202 today
b- coffee x 4, cottage cheese
l- tuna sashimi, a few edamame and cucumbers
d- Spaghetti meat sauce w/parm and baguette
s - tomatoes, popsicles or jello w/whip
cals 800/85 g protein
Have a great day!

Zucchini is not my favorite. I like it more than eggplant though

I've given up trying to decide where zucchini and eggplant fit on my hierarchy. Don't get me started on squash.
