I just can't do anything in the shop right now. Too much lateral, twisting, and turning movements, and shifting weight from one leg to another. I'm hoping in a couple more weeks.

The new Haunted Mansion on Disney + is really good. Nightbooks on Netflix is good. Hubie Halloween with Adam Sandler is another good one. Any of the Goosebumps movies are good. You can go old school and look up the Tales from the Crypt movies.

I didn't think Tales from the Crypt was very scary, but then again I watch zombie movies and The exorcist so my version of "not very scary" could be a bit different from yours and JB's.

Monster High is a fun movie as is Underwraps. One is on Paramount and the other is another Disney + movie.

someone on one of my Facebook chat thread thingies recommended some Scottish film called "The Wicker Man" (1974). I'd never heard of it, so I looked it up - it got a 90% rating from rottentomatoes, my go-to reviewing site. That's a really high rating for a horror film, so I'll check it out. It's on Tubi, a free internet streaming site. You have to put up with commercials every 20 minutes or so, and you can't skip through them - but that's fine - that's my time to go out to the kitchen to get something to drink - or check my email - or whatever.

Corpse Bride (Tim Burton) not scary but interesting.
I love love love Coco (the movie, not the drink) around this time of the year. And it doesn't matter how many times I watch I cry my eyes out.

Ha. that is hilarious! All my favorite Halloween movies are scary. I can't think of any cute ones other than what you mentioned. Oh, Winnie the Pooh has a Halloween special that is really cute.
