Good Morning! Happy Halloween!
I am feeling like Steve this morning. My phone conversation with the interviewer solidified my feeling that this is not the job I want at all. It sounds like it would be very stressful, to say the least. I'm still going to going forward with the in person interview on Thursday but I am really thinking about it as practice more than actually considering it any more. It would be scary to turn down an offer, but I am really trying to find a way to take care of myself going forward. We'll see!
Tonight Grim's daughter is going to come over for dinner and to watch a halloween movie with us while we hand out candy. We make endless fun of her because she thinks that E.T. is terrifying, so that might be the "scary" movie we watch ;)
QOTD: Does your local area have a place that is famous for Halloween stuff? (sorry, I think I am stealing Grim's answer again.) We have Salem, MA, of course. Starting around September 1st it becomes impossible to get in and out of the city because it's so popular and crazy there for months.
Accountability: On plan except that I didn't weigh my chicken and definitely had more than usual and I had one mini Kit Kat. I'm hoping I can stick to just one piece today, too.
- Protein Coffee
- TJs Eggwich
- Veggie Burger
- ?? - take out of some sort

Good mornin QJB and everyone! Happy Halloween!
Today looks to be busy as my mom has to have a tooth extracted tomorrow. She wants to get a few groceries and do a thrift store run. so she can stay home for a few days I guess.
I'm still having a problem with a rash of some sort. Thinking it's a drug rash...to which one? Who the heck knows. Nothing new but I'm willing to bet it's the tizanidine (muscle relaxer). It's all over the front of me, from neck to belly button, on my upper arms and upper half of my back. It's driving me CRAZY! Benadryl pills and cream don't help for longer than 30 minutes. It's always something. I'm quite miserable as it's very itchy and hurtful to touch.
I'm sure the kids will come by this evening. I doubt we have any trick or treating here but we are prepared for em if we do.
QOTD: not really here.
B: JUST egg cup and coffee x 2

G'morning all!
I landed yesterday about 5:00 pm but felt like 2:00 am to me. 9 hours jet lag is no joke. Went to bed around 8:00 pm and was up and ready to start the day at 3:00 am. I noticed with age it gets more and more difficult to get over the jet lag. It takes me a good week to get back on PST, the same in Italy. I would wake up in the middle of the night wide awake and ready to tackle the day.
My trip was delightful and uneventful. It was just to see family and hang out. We did a couple of small day excursions but nothing to write home about. I really appreciate the time I get to have with my family, and honestly I would be happy to just sit down and chat all day. And that's what I did mostly with my mom. And coffee, lots and lots of coffee.
QOD - JB, DD was in Salem this past weekend and really enjoyed it. Hasn't sent me any pics but she said she had a blast. Winchester mystery house is the only one I can think of in my area. The house belonged to the widow and heiress to the Winchester arms fortune. It is spooky with rooms and stairs that go nowhere and during Halloween they make it even spookier.
My meals yesterday were airplane food plus a barebells bar and chomp stick. Happy to get back to my food routine.
Happy Halloween!
