We did see that about Mary Lou Retton. We had just seen her on a special last week and I commented they didn't even recognize her. I hope she's on the mend soon.

Mary Lou is from a little town in West Virginia. My husband played football with her father, Frank Retton. One day he was watching TV and saw her for the first time and checked to see if it was Frank's daughter. It was and he really enjoyed following her career.

Monongua, WV is a very tight knit community outside of Fairmont. They have a Mary Lou Retton street. Her neighbors will be there for her and people worldwide will be praying for her recovery.
