Good morning and happy Wednesday. It's a blustery day in the PNW. I woke up this morning feeling puffy and the scale is up 2 pounds. The only thing that I can attribute it to is that work was very busy and I did not drink enough water. I am really going to push lots of fluids today.

QOTD- I also keep forgetting to buy a ticket! If I ever did win, I would want to remain anonymous and just randomly bless people.

Food for today-

Bloom super greens with miralax

salted caramel protein shake with cold brew

tuna salad with boiled

Cod and roasted sheet vegetables

maybe a boiled egg or chomps.

Lots of water and hot tea

Goals for today- push fluids, vitamins, no wine and elliptical

G'morning all!

Eek, Wed already? 2 more sleeps and I'll be gone. I still have random stuff on my to do list but the bulk of stuff is purchased. I have to get my blood work done for the bariatric group before I leave, because when I come back there is not enough time before the yearly appt. I didn't realize my shoulder surgery and the bariatric appt are 2 days apart, I guess I'll just have a sling and hope they take into account my sling when they weigh me.

Yesterday at the body shop they said they need to change those panels that were scratched, because the paint is matte and they can't reproduce it. They will take the car next week and it will take 4-5 days to replace it. All good, I'm not here, so DH will drop the car and they will work on it while I'm gone.

QOD - IF we ever bought a lottery ticket, and IF (even a bigger if) we won, I don't think our lives would be ruined. We would travel a lot more, and make sure kids and grandkids and their kids are taken care of through solid trust funds. I honestly don't think we would even move because we like our house and the location. The only thing I would like to have is a 24/7 personal chef and personal trainer.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Pumpkin rolled oats
  • Thai chili and lime cashews, pumpkin blondie brownie, L&F pumpkin yogurt
  • Scrambled eggs w/bread cheese
  • E: weights + HIIT

Happy hump day!

Not even joking here, I would ask your surgeon staff to weigh the sling and then would tell the bari staff they have to deduct by that much.

I wish the IRS would set up a lottery. The more taxes you paid the more chances would be issued to you. Some people would win and be billionaires.

Good morning, everybody!

I was up early and went to the gym. I would say that it feels good to be done, but i need to go back this afternoon. Mainly because I didn't make it on Monday and need to catch up. Still, it felt good to be up and about at a fairly early hour.

Did anybody see that Mary Lou Retton is quite ill with pneumonia, and is fighting for her life? She is only 55 and in great shape. I guess the pneumonia that she has is a rare and deadly form. Another reminder that we should keep fighting to stay healthy. Speaking of which we are signed up for flu shots on Friday and COVID Booster sometime next week.

So my Amex credit card had this $30 off offer on Vuori. I went to the website, ordered two pairs of shorts and saw that there was another 20% percent off coupon. I figured Marilyn would be so happy with me if I took advantage of both offers. Which started me down a path of logging in, two factor authentication, emails, which phone to use, and Shopify. Really, I don't even know what Shopify is. But what I do know is that when I entered my Shopify two factor authentication code into the computer it charged Marilyn's Visa Card. Basically, I blew it. She is not going to be happy.

With the cold weather, Marilyn made a big beef stew. It will be my menu for the next few days.

QOTD: I don't think so, but I would be one of those people who waits a good long time before cashing in. Definitely, I would try and avoid the publicity as much as possible.

Breakfast: English muffin

Lunch: Roast Beef

Dinner: Beef stew

Have a great day, all!

I was going to say if I win, I want you to be my Money manager but you can't even order Shorts without screwing it up. I may need to find someone else.
