Good Morning! Monday holidays are like second Sundays, right? Happy Indigenous People's Day!
Gotta make this quick because Grim just told me we need to leave the house in a half hour. We're back to the wood store and breakfast, first thing. Later we're going to meet up with people at a local annual Renaissance Fair, called King Richard's Faire. I went once about 25 years ago, and it was definitely not my scene, but fun nonetheless. I think it's gotten a lot bigger since then, so it should be interesting.
Had a good weekend. Got stuff done. Yada yada.
QOTD:What always sounds like a good idea at the time but rarely is? Ice cream. Well for me it's not even ice cream, because I don't do cream based lactose, so Fro-Yo for me. But either way, the high sugar in liquid from gets me every time.
Food is a little up in the air since we'll be out all day, but I've started with my protein coffee, will have an egg and sausage for breakfast, lunch - tbd, and probably chicken for dinner, but that might change depending on what lunch looked like and what time we get home.

Good morning ~ Second Sunday would be lovely! Enjoy the Faire, it's people watching at its best. Mellow weekend and still managed to rack up the steps, nice. Today is not a work holiday for me anymore, so off to work I go. I have a morning of meetings then I will hit the road. The plan is to stick to eggs+fruit, meat+veg, hydrate and avoid all alcohol even when pressed by some well-meaning conference peeps. I'm excited that the restaurant at the hotel is high end, so hopefully better food then I am used to at these things.
Accountability - no alcohol - yay and I stuck to my planned menu 100% but add 8 potato chips and a fun size milky way. That crap needs to stop. I'm happy for my structured weekdays. 209 today.

l - air fryer pita pizza
d- Kale salad w/chicken at hotel
s-slim jims and protein crackers
Yoga - 20 minutes, beach walk tonight

Safe Travels. I bought a peanut butter and chocolate whisky this weekend and been sipping on it. Kind of Pregaming for vacation. My dry June definitely helped me so I need to fit in another Dry Month but with the holidays coming it doesn't look like I have a month that does not have some kind of occasion I could pass on the good stuff. I think my next opportunity will be January.

Good mornin everyone! QJB and Grim, hope you have a fantastic day out.
Not a lot going on today that I know of. We may go to Walmart or we will stay home and do a few things here. My mom is wanting to make a plastic cup light like she made way back but a little different. It requires 50 little punch like plastic cups, a set of Christmas lights, zip ties and patience.
Speaking of my mom, she is a little more chill about things but still refuses to think otherwise. She thinks I think she is just a crazy old lady. Makes quips about that alllllll day. Shrug. It is what it is. I did tell her she needs to back off of them. She could be sued if she keeps it up though we could counter sue for certain things too. It's just really a **** show tbh. I'm over it, I'm sick and tired of the stress this has caused me. We have people across the highway that burn all of their trash and we are almost always downwind of it. I think that's the main problem.
Pain is just unbearable. Like I said on FB, I have no other choice but to live with it. I'm almost out of the muscle relaxers and there is no refills left. Not sure what to do.
QOTD: anything sweet really.

Good morning all and Happy Indigenous Peoples' Day,
Fall has arrived in Chicago. It feels like everyone is surprised by cooler weather. The streets were less populated than usual except for area apple/pumpkin/fall festivals. I am currently in the phase of enjoying the crisp weather.
The weekend was very enjoyable. I had a really nice dinner with good company on Friday. My calendar Saturday night said, "7p Take it easy for once." I had no choice but to attend that important event. My bowling event was a flop; zero people showed up.
QOTD- Just One. If I tell myself that I can have just one then that probably means that I can't have any. This pertains to junk food, booze, 3-card Monte, etc.
Accountability - 2 Korean Fried Chicken Legs. First time eating fried chicken in 3+ years, 1 taco bell taco innards.
B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine
L: Brisket chili, 1/2 pc cornbread.
D: Chicken Magic. I will magically take an innocent piece of bland chicken and transform it into a palatable dinner. I am so sick of my normal chicken go to's.
HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.
