What's on your Thursday Menu?
My only advice is spend some time where ever it is you think you want to be. I thought that I knew what I was getting into and ended up only spending 6 months and regretting ever having moved. Working from home is not all it's cracked up to be. If you have a good circle of friends it's not bad, but most of my socializing now is on Teams video chat. Live somewhere for a few months before you jump. I hope you find what you are looking for.
I fight the work issue everyday. I keep thinking if I could retire today I would. Not that my job is that bad I'm just tired of it. I've been working in the same industry for the last 45 years and I'm over it. Nowhere to go, I don't want to start a new career but I'm tired of doing this. 11 more months until my Full Retirement Age...

Honestly, the only time I've been tied down anywhere was while raising my son - he's 29 now. Maybe a little when my parents were alive too. Now, I could pick up and move my life in an instant and feel right at home. Home is where I make it. Maybe it's from moving so much all my life, but it's easy for me. I know that is not the case for everyone.

As much as I don't wish a job hunt for you because it ain't fun over here, I left to go back to school because I kept being put in situations where I was doing 5 jobs with no additional pay, and even if they had paid me, there still were not enough hours in the day. Even though I feel down about the job hunt, its not nearly the stress I felt from the crushing anxiety of never getting it all done at work, so I hope you can find something wonderful that takes the pressure off!

Thank you! I hope you find a great fit that you really enjoy. Something that challenges you, but doesn't kill you like before!

Good morning on this Friday-Eve. I'm sorry you haven't found many job options. I know whatever ends up working out will be worth it. Also, whoever is lucky enough to have you join their team is extremely lucky.

Please, tell us more about the mosaics.
