I need help

Do you have a doctor and surgical plan already? If not, as you do your research, I recommend looking for a program that includes a good therapy and change management aspect -- my program (in addition to the psych making sure I was a good candidate) included a 10 week behavior modification workshop which I still refer back to mentally quite a bit. It's not easy, even after WLS, so to me the mental aspect is so important. Your program will have a lot of impact about what your immediate before or after surgery is like, and programs vary pretty widely.

There's a lot to it, and I wouldn't know where to begin. What kind of insight are you looking for, exactly?
