Good morning all and Happy Trick Daddy Tuesday,

"A thug is someone who stands on his own. He lives by the decisions he makes and accepts the consequences." - An Ancient 20th Century Urban Proverb, by Maurice Samuel Young, the Tricketh of all Daddies. Here's the great philosopher deep in thought:

I didn't make any medical calls yesterday. Started to beat myself up and realized how much continual, consistent effort I make on medical stuff. Gave myself some grace and tranquility returned shortly.

QOTD- I will eat pretty much anything. On moral grounds, I won't eat horse and dog. I know 99% here wouldn't even think about eating these. However, I know some Western World Countries eat horse meat while there's also some truth to the Asian dog consumption stereotype. Even typing this is disgusting.

Accountability win: Last Thursday, someone gave me a fresh pear Danish from a current bakery darling with a kick ass pastry chef. I went to eat half of it this morning and the pears were starting to mold. It went right in the garbage. I wish every attempt at eating any sugary carbs would turn out this way.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut, Tangerine.

L: Leftover Pork shish-ka-bob, carrots, fresh tomato juice.

D: Salad with morning ingredients - Hard boiled egg, mandarins, craisins, applewood bacon, tofu in bacon fat(totally vegetarian), fresh goat cheese, Al dente spinach, agave syrup vinaigrette, mint for garnish. I've never made anything like this and thought about it while eating breakfast.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 215. 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

Good job on the pear Danish. You could have Costanza'd it and eaten around the mold (Seinfeld reference to eating from the garbage).

Good morning everybody!

It?s a rainy day here in Chicagoland. I haven?t quite mastered the new toaster yet. I made an English Muffin last night that was pretty crispy, so that had me feeling pretty good about myself.

But my bagels continue to be undercooked. I?m going to try and increase the settings to 6. Also, I am going to turn the cut side to face out. Fingers crossed.

I?m kind of counting down the days until September 30. One it?s my weightlifting meet. I?ve lost some strength as I?ve lost weight, so the meet is more for fun and Marilyn?s first time to see me compete. After the meet I?m going to take a break and just do CrossFit for the rest of 2023. My coach will be disappointed but it feels like too much with return to office.

The other thing is that it?s our fiscal year for work. Usually I try to live in the moment and not wish my life away, but it?s only two weeks.

QOTD: I eat all of the things.

Breakfast: bagel

Lunch: Roast beef

Dinner: Schnitzel

Have a great day, all!

I cut it down the middle, but apparently I need to face the cut part towards the outside edge of the toaster, not inwards.

Also, for the record eating everything did not include dogs or cats.

I keep seeing Schnitzel and you got me hankering for it. Maybe I'll be motivated to exercise so I can have some in the next week. I still have not had the Walburger patty melt you had me pining for.

One restaurant serving has lasted me for 3 meals so far.

Last night's game was boring and I felt bad for Nick Chubb, getting injured like that.

I feel bad that I didn't win the football pool. Yes, that game was bad. I feel bad for TJ Watt having to play with this team.

QOTD- I quit eating meat in 1983 on moral grounds. I just can't do it. When I was in high school my parents moved us out to what we called the sticks. We bottle raised a holstein cow (black & white). We called him Spot and he really thought he was a dog. I was forced to eat him. We also had sheep and pigs and I had a horse. I could never eat horse no matter how starving I was. I do eat fish and shrimp. I pretty much love all animals and that is my reasoning.

I wasn't very productive yesterday so I'd better get to it.

Have a great day everyone!
