I learn such interesting things from you, Chrissy. I did not know about filled pizzelles. What an amazing idea for a cookie. And would be a lot easier than the traditional cream horns.

I no longer have to work, sleep, or take care of anybody and have been on a weird kind of schedule all summer. I stay up all night, do things during the day, and nap off and on from around 5 PM until midnight.

I am going to the conference next week so will try to adjust to a more normal sleep pattern. Then going back to work on 9/18 so will be going to bed at midnight and trying to sleep until 7:00 AM.

Here are the ones we did last year for her sisters wedding.

I'm trying to think of what I would not do for that. . . . Nope. Pretty much anything.

Oh, those look delish! When you said stuffed, I was visualizing pizelle sandwich cookies, but those are so much more elegant!

Ah Monday we meet again. The weekend was a bit of a wash out, but I was able to get some inside cleaning done. Of course Meisha wanted to play can't get me with the vacuum, but I'm going to try and get you to play with me in the house anyways. She's a goofy dog.

Big Garlic festival this coming weekend at Olde Mystic Village in CT. We went last year, and I ended up getting over 100 seed garlic to add to the 150 I already had. I love garlic. They even had black garlic which is sweet and tangy. I guess you slow cook it for a week or so and it turns the garlic black and brings out so much flavor.

QOTD: Something outside that's for sure. Probably gardening. I hate being cooped up in the house unless there is snow on the ground.

I love roasted garlic so I bet I would love the slow roasted for a week garlic!

I need to go to that garlic festival. It sounds amazing. And I would love the smells. Wow!!!
