Good morning all and Happy Friday,

It's going to be a great day; better believe it!

On Sunday, my club is having a BBQ and hosting the Bears Game in our backyard. I just reread that and we will not be having 120x 300lb men in the yard. We'll have a flat screen under a huge canopy. I'm helping organize and prepare. RN I have 30lbs burgers & bats, 5lb potato salad, and 5 gallons of ice cream in my back seat. We're expecting 100ppl. I love it when a plan comes together. Yay for football.

QOTD - I walked to school until High School, then took I took the bus. However, there was a couple years in grade school that a friend's mom joined us. She would play the guitar while driving her minivan. Nothing unsafe about that.

B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt, Tangerine.

I have relatives who live in Venezuela and they own a flower farm. There are hillsides with acres and acres of beautiful flowers. Each field a different color. Reds, yellows, oranges, purples, pinks as far as you can see. Their weather is beautiful year round and everyday they create bouquets and take them to sell at florist shops in the towns.

Today is a religious holiday and they sent me a picture of an arrangement that they made today. I forget sometimes that people in the world live very different lives and find happiness in different ways than in the US.

Welcome to the start of the Weekend-

Is it the cone that is fried dough or is the fried dough in the ice cream itself? That is great news about the mentoring and happy to hear you had fun with the improv class. QJB has a full weekend in front of her. Sounds like fun.

Not much planned for the weekend, just the usual workouts, dinner out on Saturday, meal prep for the week. although it is a short week as I am heading to the OH Conference on Thursday. I am excited to meet a few of you face to face!

QOTD: Grade school we walked to school since we were only a few blocks from the school. Junior High we took the bus. In High School we drove our own car (my mom's station wagon with the fake wood paneling).

Accountability: a few extra pieces of sf chocolate.

Good morning!

It's a beautiful day here. I guess I just couldn't stand the upstairs guest suite to be all perfect and shiny. I volunteered to pick up the grands from school and have them spend the night. I'm going to run a few errands before I pick them up. Easy day. I have no "scheduled" exercise today. My knee is sore from yesterday's walk and PT. But I might take the girls to the park and walk hard while they play. Maybe. Maybe not. At any rate, we'll be walking into the village for dinner. Girls choice. Any place BUT the Chinese buffet. MP does not eat buffet food unless there are zero other options. The girls however love it. So only Papa goes to dinner with them if it's the buffet. Blech.

QoTD: bussed, driven, walked, rode bikes.

Menu today...

B: Costco chicken bites and cottage cheese

L: leftover taco meat and 1/2 bag of Quest chips I did not eat last night

D: TBD!

Peace Everybody!

That beet salad looks delicious and I love your ice cube. You have a lot going on with filling in for your coworker, the pool, getting back from vacation, give yourself some grace!
