Gordan Ramsey is known for his wellington but instead of Goose live he uses a mushroom Pate. We make it sometimes for Christmas dinner

And I know yours would be delicious. I am going to have to figure out how to visit you so I can have some of that wonderful food that you fix.

During a meander through the frozen section at Walmart yesterday I discovered a series of frozen meals curated by famous chefs, including Gordon Ramsey. Regrettably, did not see this meal. Go figure. Mushroom pate sounds delicious!

Good Morning! Yay on getting the paper turned in and glad you enjoyed the lobster roll. I hope the surgery goes well. Things here are busy and still no movement on a new employee yet. I did get a call yesterday to schedule my iron infusion and got that squared away for tomorrow so it'll be nice to have that taken care of.

My iron infusion lasts for two years and then I am run down like the Energized Bunny. I had one in June this year so hopefully will be good until 2025 or so.

Glad you're getting your iron taken care of. One of the ladies at work had iron literally bottom out and she was...having a hard time.

In grateful that I have a medical team that supports infusions. The process used to take about 7 hours but now I'm usually in/out within 90 mins.

I had my cataract surgeries during the pandemic. Someone had to drop me off at the surgical center fifteen minutes before the surgery. Then they called for me to be picked up after it was done. I think I was there a little over an hour total. They wanted people in and out as quickly as possible. Six hours prep seems crazy to me.

The surgery itself is incredible. I no longer need glasses or contacts for distance, but do need reading glasses. I see colors so much brighter now. The cataracts made everything have a yellowish cast and once that was gone and a clear new lens inserted, it is like looking through a clean window again. Everything is clear and bright.

I had two surgeries and they were two weeks apart. During that two weeks, it was interesting to look at something covering one eye and seeing the difference between the old and new lens. My vision was blurry for the first 24 hours. There was a complicated regimen of different eyedrops and an eye shield involved. I did not have any pain.
