Oh and we can have a section on The Queen's Journey (with friends) on all the ways we developed to be bariatric compliant-ish while traveling, going to events, etc

I'm trying to come up with a play on The Queen's Gambit, but it's not coming to me.

Ick! Dermatologist appointment. I dread that. I escaped last week with one biopsy, one freezing and a 'script for chemo cream for the tip of my nose. And I consider that getting off easy. And that's why I really dread that appointment. I switched my bariatric doctor stuff over to my regular PCP. I love him, he listens and he actually wants to see me in person vs a phone appt since Covid. I mean, my WLS has not seen my face in nearly 3 years. How does she know what my blood pressure is doing or if I am having heart palps or whatever? I'm frustrated by that so my regular doc said he'd take over. Having blood work done this morning to be sent to him for my annual check up.
I know Lisa, it feels like Dermatology is something that I can't make it through without a new procedure being added. It used to be an easy, every couple of years appointment.

Good morning ~ We all know you will have this paper done in plenty of time! My son is safely in Vegas with his friends and will fly home tomorrow. This was a total win-win for all of us and I'm so grateful. I have a ton to catch up on for work and school so I will continue to do the very best I can and try not to stress. I haven't been on the straight and narrow even though I plan hard to do so. Vacation was a little indulgent - up 3 pounds when I got home, now down 2. I am struggling with the just do it vs emotional excuses - again or rather, still. Lately, I've been into watching instagram/tic tok videos of some people who motivate me and that is helping with my mind set. The calorie deficit, daily goals - water, vitamins, protein, exercise, what to eat, what to avoid - I know these things, yet I fall back to old patterns. Just f*ing do it, Amy. I honestly didn't plan to exercise today, but I got up and did a 25 minute yoga and it felt great.
QOTD - I would definitely LOVE to hear your podcast of this crew. I would love to have a podcast series based on the random motivational people I follow that make what feels so difficult, seem easy.
Food:
b- coffee x 2, protein cold brew
l - tuna salad with celery
d - lefter turkey taco in a bowl
s - carrots, cucumber, yogurt ranch dip, grape tomatoes, cheese stick
802cals/106g protein
Current goals:
800 cal/100g protein - aiming for 30g protein each meal and 15g for snack
64+oz water - this has been hard lately
MOVE - everyday, even if only only for 15 minutes
JUST DO IT
Have a wonderful Wednesday!!

Yay for getting the yoga in. Your plan and approach looks like a good one, it would be nice if all the things we know we need to do were easier to do, wouldn't it?

Amy, it's hard, but as they say choose your hard. I love the motivational diet people. There is this guy on tiktok that I even bought his book. He debunks all the nonsense we keep hearing. His name is Ben Carpenter, it doesn't hurt that he has a British accent and is cute.
