Good morning and yay Thursday, love the cute puppy meme. I hope you find your wallet, I would not be able to stop looking until I did. I lost my phone in-between the center console and my seat a few weeks ago....I knew it was somewhere because it still connected to my car audio but it took me a good half an hour to find it, including a walk from the store to the car wash in case I had dropped it there. Turns out black case on black carpet and trip in a tight crevice is pretty invisible.

QOTD - umm, which one? I have a few. I think my oldest is a 10 year old iMac desktop and my most recent is the iPad I bought in May.

Meetings from 6:30 to 3 in the office, plus somewhere in there we have our monthly town hall, I wonder if there will be snacks. I actually prefer to be on line during our town halls to see all the comments in the chat, people really need better filters, lol.

Depending on what time I get home (need to do a few errands after work and it will be peak traffic) I might do a stretching pilates series or I might take today as a rest day.

menu today

coffee plus half and half X3

L&F greek

barebells bar

sliced cheddar and meat stick

tbd on dinner, I might get a burger on my way home or maybe I will not and then grill this weekend

Have a terrific Thursday!

My last company had weekly town halls and whenever there was a controversial topic, like RTO, the chat would be on FIRE. I could not BELIEVE what people would post - and it wasn't anonymous! I actually found it shocking how disrespectful people would be. Maybe I'm old school!

We have had to have many, many coaching conversations in this space. There is a whole world of difference in what you can say on social media and what you can say in a not anonymous business chat.

Ron and I share locations just so if we lose are phone we can pinpoint where it is instead of calling everywhere we have been. I lost it a few times in the casino, and we were able to track it right away. I love that feature. I still want to get airtags fro my Mom and dog just never got around to it yet.

my AirTags are the only reason I had all my cold weather gear in Finland; the people at JFK said "no we don't have your bag, we sent it on to Amsterdam"...I was able to show them that it was not in fact somewhere on it's way to Amsterdam.

I just set mine up and named them Wine and Fries. Shocking, I know.

Good morning everyone. Days are getting noticeably shorter. I'm not ready for cold weather. I catch myself rooting for a little local global warming. Maybe just on my street.

There's a new BBQ place that just opened 2 days ago that should be fun. So many things to choose from. There's very little BBQ around here, so we'll see.

QOTD: My PC is less than a year old. It replaced one that was 12 years old. My tablet is 2 or 3 years old. Those get replaced a little more often, and usually because the batteries just stop holding a charge. I have an ancient laptop, and no longer really have a use for one.

The EU recently passed a law that consumer electronics must have user replaceable batteries, and cell phone, tablet, and laptop makers are redesigning their gear to comply. The speculation is they won't have different models for the US and Europe, so we may benefit from their regulation.
