Sub jeans for leggings and I think that would work!

I have never worn leggings. And can't imagine ever doing so.

Mornin' All!
well as of this morning (my usual "weigh day") my weight was above my "drop dead" level, which shouldn't have been surprising after all the eating I've done the past 10 days, except for maybe two days of it. So it's now time to get serious about reeling it in. I have a few phentamine tablets left over from when I was on it, so I may take one of those for the next two or three mornings just to get myself back to where I need to be. I also need to GET OUT OF THE DAMN HOUSE! Part of the issue is I've mostly been in here, and I get bored - and when I get bored, I head for the kitchen to see what there is to eat. It's insane. I have a meeting this afternoon, so that's good - but I need to get out this morning, too (although I tend to be OK in the mornings - it's afternoons when things are more likely to spin out of control). Anyway, game on!
QOTD: I'll have to come back to this since nothing is coming to mind at the moment...
B: thin piece of Danish bread with butter and jam (actually, a fruit spread - fewer calories). Plain skyr with fruit. Coffee with half & half
MS/L: I'm going to try to hold out until lunch. Maybe Ratio yogurt and a salad?
AS: protein muffin
D: vegetables and 1/2 a fake chicken "burger" (still haven't eaten this).
ex: I also need to exercise today. Haven't done enough of this lately. A long bike ride if the weather cooperates - I can even bike to that meeting this afternoon if it's not too hot or rainy (haven't checked the weather forecast yet). If not, walking or water aerobics - although I torch the most calories when I bike, so I'll prioritize that.
have a great day, everyone!
I have a memory of standing and staring into the refrigerator when I was a bored teenager. I remember my mother yelling that was wasting electricity. Somehow looking at food seems to go with boredom. And looking leads to eating. Getting out of the house is a good plan.
Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Boredom and inactivity are diet killers! I notice the same with myself. Therefore, I try to keep busy most of the time, most days.

QJB, do you stay in touch with your Big and Littles? DD is friends with her Grandbig, but her Big had a death in her family, Junior year, so didn't spend that much time with DD. Not sure about her Little.
Has anybody been following the Lazy Boy Decliner?
It's an AI enabled chair that cancels your plans when you get comfortable. The way that it works is you snuggle in, start relaxing, and if someone texts you, just crank the handle. The chair will compose an excuse as to why you are unable to interact with whoever is texting you and send it out on your behalf.
I guess that there are three Decliners available and they are being given away. In order to win you have to submit an excuse of your own and fill out a form.
Here people were worried that AI would not serve humanity.
Both boys are safely at school and the lawn is mowed. Marilyn hit a pothole in Birmingham, so they need to get the tire checked out today. My Baratrician has not confirmed that she ordered my labs.
The rods are supposed to be delivered today. After that, I will head to Chicago and check in. Dinner is at RPM Seafood.
QOTD: Far From the Madding Crowds. Obviously it's a romanticized view of a pastoral life that was probably dangerous and smelly in real life.
Breakfast: Bagel
Lunch: corned beef hash
Dinner: Fish
Have a great day, all!

Good morning everyone. I've got a bunch of little things I'm doing, and I'm hoping to wrap some of them up. I came back from Shaker Con with a bunch of new ideas, both for existing projects and some new. I need to finish making jigs and forms to make that happen. That's vague -- I'll post some pictures when things are done.
QOTD: That's a tough one. I'm interested in the past, but I have no illusions about how pleasant it was for those who lived it. PP stole my answer about the future. I might go to Robinson Crusoe's island if that jerk wasn't there. It was nice and quiet.

Oh my goodness, you just reminded me of RC. I think I've read that book a 100 times. Such good memories.
