G'morning all!
Yay for Fri-yay!
Have you guys seen the previews of new Willy Wonka movie with Timothée Chalamet? I think he was born to be Wonka and he has the quirkiness. Although he will always be Paul Muad'Dib in Dune for me.
QJB - cute pic of you and Grim. 6 years ago? Wow, time flies.
Couple of more days and I can unplug. Is it bad that yesterday on my jog I was thinking I can't wait to be on vacation so I can stop this madness of workout routine? I wasn't thinking of beautiful location, or spending time with my family, but I was looking forward to no workouts. I know I'm taking bands with me and there will be tons of walks but nothing like the last 7 weeks.
We are tenting our house for the first time, some termite problems, while we are gone. I didn't know that I'm supposed to bag all the food in the pantry, even the stuff in the fridge and freezer. Thank goodness I did a "Lisa" and tried to finish off everything in the fridge and freezer, but still can't completely empty the fridge. There are two shelves of hot sauces in the fridge and some frozen stuff in the freezer. The company brought us some bags to put the food in and put it back in the freezer. Pantry is another issue, too much food.
QOTD: presently 57° with a high of 68°. Our real summer is towards Sept-Oct when all the tourists go back home.
Our renegade otter has become art work and typical of Santa Cruz everybody is rooting for 841. I love his little finger flipping the authorities.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Rolled oats w/almond butter
- Scrambled eggs with feta cheese
- Home made froyo
- Tuna + hb eggs
- E: 6 miles wog
Happy Fri-yay!

I have seen the trailer. I don't know that we needed a Willy Wonka origin story but at least it's that versus another remake.
I don't think there is anything wrong with looking forward to a workout break. You are always so disciplined!

I'm biased. Anything with him in it I like.

Some of my coworkers in Tampa-Clearwater have mentioned it, and I think a few in Phoenix too. I have never heard about it here. My sister had a really bad termite issue in Missouri (100+ year old farm house) but I don't think the protocol was to tent, I remember boring/drilling being involved though.

I've never heard of tenting in New England. For termites it's just perimeter treatment.

The perimeter treatment comes after the tenting, for us. I think you need to subscribe, and obv pay through the nose, for every three months treatment.
