Oh no, I'm so sorry. It's not raining or pouring...you've got the monsoon right now. Thinking of you and hope things get marginally better quickly.

Good morning!
Thanks for all the check in's on Rog yesterday. We don't know the results of the actual test yesterday (he has a follow up for discussion on the 4th. But they did work on his nasal passages and removed some tissue. Not sure what else. He's stuffy and swollen, but feels good enough to go to pickle ball this morning. More updates to come.
Because we were at the procedure for so long, I ate my snacks for lunch, which was very appropriate and then it was hot and I was tired and over hungry, so for dinner I got a beef taco from the dive taco shop. So that's my accountability for yesterday. Kept my calories to 1000 and had a huge workout day, so I'm not feeling guilty about the taco, but the scale is no friend of mind.
I am meeting a friend to do the walk up Mt. Helix and I'll get at least one full rep of my stair routine in. Hoping for two. She is thinking she doesn't want to do the stairs at all, but will wait for me and enjoy the gorgeous view. Then walk back down, home to shower and off for a Dr. appt. for an annual check up. And that's the excitement of my day.
Forgot the QoTD: about 5 years ago at the Bison Reserve in Montana. A big, fat bumblebee. The size of my thumb. Poor guy, I accidentally trapped him between me and the seat when I leaned back and he did what he was designed to do. My friend was my hero and pulled him out of my shoulder blade. Hurt like the dickens and I remember sitting there thinking I'm in a very remote place, if I am allergic, they are going to need to call out the helicopter!
Food today
B: hb egg, cottage cheese, a little greek yogurt/fresh herb sauce I made
L: leftover beef taco.
D: definitely having the pork chop tonight, artichoke and maybe some corn on the cob. I have these things and I need to cook them!
Peace Everybody.

At my little open office desk I have two hoodies and two wraps because cold happens so much. Are blankets a possibility?

Good morning everybody!
Not eating all weekend plus soft foods equals grazing on carbs all day long. Looking forward to getting back to real food again today. I even had a bowl of cereal with milk last night for the first time in years.
My trainer is selling his gym. I'm kind of stunned. We've been together for 10 plus years. I'm not sure whether he is moving, starting a new business, or what but hopefully I will get the lowdown tonight.
For the time being, I will stick with the new owners. I could just go to the gym where I work with my weightlifting coach 2 times a week, but that is not nearly as close to my house.
Also, Marilyn is trying to decide whether she has enough tennis to keep her busy or whether she wants to return to CrossFit. She is still a little sore in her abdomen from the Burpees, so that may be influencing her also.
QOTD: I think about 6 years ago doing yard work.
Breakfast: Frittata
Lunch: chicken
Dinner: Sausage
Have a great day, all!

G'morning all!
QJB - I can just picture you like a mad scientist moving around in the kitchen but with frosting all over you! Grim's description of a crazy lady in the kitchen cracked me up.
QOTD: I have been bitten a couple of times, nothing major. Once on my pinky (I was trying to get the bee out of the pool, thought she was dead) to the point the pinky became as big as my thumb. But my main memory is of my brother. We had just arrived at our seaside place, he went up on the deck and seems like one of us had left a blanket on the deck last time we were there. He lifted the blanket and the bees attacked. I remember seeing him running down the stairs screaming and hitting his head. I had no idea what was going on but my dad figured it out and pushed him under the shower. After that at the hospital they gave him some sort of Benadryl and told us he was stung more than 50 times.
In the forest, where I jog, certain times of the year the bees are more aggressive, to the point there are signs. I saw two ladies walking, one of them got stung and started coughing. Come to find out she was allergic. In the forest there is no cell service, so who do they engage to run to the guard's booth for help? ME!!! You know when they say run like a tiger is following you? That's what I did because I kept thinking I can't have her dying on my conscious. It was only about a mile, thank goodness, and the ranger called the ambulance. No idea how it ended up but I was happy I did my part.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Scrambled eggs with spicy salami
- Fage yogurt, jello
- Chicken bites, cauliflower thins, mini bell peppers
- E: 6 miles wog, 1/2 hr HIIT
Happy TACO tue!
