What's on your Tuesday Menu?

I was eating at an outdoor table with a group of coworkers when a bee sting my leg. One of the guys went to a store to get me some Benadryl. He came back with a generic because he thought Benadryl was too expensive.

By the next morning my thigh had swelled to what looked like double in size. I got some real Benadryl and the swelling went down right after I took it.

Good mornin everyone.

I'm here but barely. For some reason my back decided to hurt a lot worse than usual last night. I slept but didn't hardly move so my legs are extra sore too. lol it's always something.

We didn't go to Walmart yesterday either so today we need to go before we pick up the kids from their thing. I need to figure some healthy stuff that's soft food. I wish I could eat eggs! I have SF pudding and broth stuff. I might get some cream of soups but I'm not sure. I wish I could just eat normal honestly lol

It's going to be a hot one today here. 104° is the forecast. Yay.

QOTD: I've never been bitten by a bee or Yellowjacket . I've been bit a million times by horse flies I think.

food is the same as yesterday pretty much. Easy to digest stuff.

Are you not a Yogurt fan? You could do some overnight oats that should be soft enough and filling.

I do love yogurt! I eat it often. That's a good idea about overnight oats. I have plenty of oatmeal to do that with! Thanks :o)

I have also been hearing about savory cottage cheese recipes if that could be an option for you. Or the infamous ricotta bake.

Good morning ~ Sounds like you've been a busy bee! My busy madness has me dreaming about running away or possibly retiring early at 55 (2 months away) and doing something else - Robs preference as he is worried about me. I should just work my fingers to the bone - I will, I always do because I'd be a fool to leave my situation. Anyway - back to the grind.

I want so badly to make exercise a priority but I'm struggling emotionally to make that happen. I'm aware it would help with my stress, but I'm stuck. I can't - I just wish work would relax some, but no such luck so I need to relax as much as possible and shut down. It's how I cope. At least I'm not using food right now.

QOTD - Not sure. I've been stung by something, twice but I did not see it happen so I don't know the culprit. Very painful and madning!

Accountability - added 2, 25 calorie corn tortillas at dinner

Have a great day!

Don't beat yourself up about exercise Amy. You can only do what you can do and given everything going on, that you are still new post revision, focusing on food is the best thing.

do you know about Calm? It's an app that I use for meditation. I am not s good meditator but it does help with stress. I also use their sleep stories regularly to help with my strange sleep patterns!

I'm sorry work won't let up right now. I know it's easier said than done but remember you're important and need to make yourself a priority.

Please go easy on our friend! Exercise will come when it can. I second the calm app. It helps me even when I'm in the gutter of crap.

I want to walk away from my position daily. Then I remember where can I get a private office and great healthcare. My head tells me to suck it up buttercup. As I pray our government does not push back the age, I can get on Medicare. 8 more years. I guess after 26+ 8 is not that long.
