What's on your Tuesday Menu?
QOTD- I was looking for an espresso machine, the one I bought last year is leaking and I don't think that I can fix it. It wasn't very expensive and it is 14 months old, but it seems like it shouldn't leak through the frothing nozzle. I didn't see any on the prime day deals.
I need to get back to work, don't want to bore you all.
Have a great day!

Illy has a good espresso machine/espresso pod combo offer; a few years ago, I essentially got my machine for free and then just had to buy the espresso

G'morning all!
QJB - Yay for sleeping 10 hours. And how are we going to live if you give up baking? I love seeing those too beautiful to eat cookies.
Speaking of apartments, nothing as fancy as NYDiva's, DD is moving into a new apartment all by herself. It's the first time she is going to be living alone; no family, no dorm roomies, no house mates. She is very excited and we are excited for her. She got approved while we were in CO. The process of being approved for an apartment in DC is cut throat. She is happy she has a tiny itty bitty terrace that is actually a fire escape - ala breakfast at Tiffany.
QOTD: I have been gathering stuff in my cart in the hopes some items would be part of prime deal but no luck so far. Amazon prime reminds me of Nordstrom sale, they happen around this time. They hype it up for weeks but then when you go to buy it's meh.
My meals yesterday:
- Coffee
- Eggwich, epic chicken
- Mex cauli rice w/ground turkey
- Iced coffee w/PP, nectarine
- Egg salad w/avocado
- E: 6 miles wog, 1/2 hr HIIT
Happy TACO Tue!

Ok so I doom scrolled on amazon for like ever, and I was thinking of maybe 10 things, and then realized I didn't actually need most of them. I ended up with some amazon men's shoelace-less running shoes for $30 for the 17 year old, some Crocs sneakers for DH, and Temptations cat treats for Chloe. Plus, the very exciting Oxy Clean half off washing machine cleaning tabs. I recently noticed how DISGUSTING the rubber front loader washing machine seal was and DH tackled it with a canister of Lysol wipes. Eww! Apparently you should run a cleaning one every 30 cycles. Which for us, in the summer, is probably every two months. Yuck.
Today is pretty uneventful but tonight I am going to a friend's with another friend and she is making us dinner. She has the most stunning rowhouse in DC that she redid, completely custom. Everything from her furniture to her light fixtures is just insanely gorgeous. She is from India and cooks the most delicious food! Last time I forgot my leftovers but that won't happen again, no siree!
B: English muffin with peanut butter
L: Leftover chicken shawarma and garlic paste and hummus!
D: Likely rice and dal and something else like chicken or fish, super tasty. Cheese and crackers and wine beforehand!
Have a most fabulous day, y'all!

That's sounds like a great evening! Another thing that helps with the front loader is to leave the door open when it drys. Mine has a vent function but leaving the door open works better

I agree with Jen. I also run a towel after every wash inside that rubber whatever it's called. And then leave the door open for about 2-3 hours. I read somewhere those cleaning agents will actually eat into the rubber eventually.
